Dear Anna, that was really a very effective listening podcast like the other ones. I love that you introduce plenty of new useful words that we're looking for when speaking as a non-native speaker. Your pronunciation is so clear that I almost miss out nothing even without looking at the captions. Please be aware of the fact that your effort is being appreciated much more than you could imagine. Thank you for sharing your knowledge generously 🙏🙏🙏💗🩷💜

Good job teacher. I am a sensitive person, when I hear someone with running nose, or eyes with tears about the cold , it is impossible holding a chat, because my eyes become full of tears without realizing about it. I have no idea why. Take care yourself. From today weather in England is told going a soared the temperature and sunny aswell. To be honest, I think you are imposing on air conditioning. Come in sweating at home could be the trigger about your cold. Vit C,

Why do native speakers use auxiliary verbs do and does in positive form or did in the simple past. For example: "I really do write that". Or: "He does walk down the street"? Thank you.
@fabrice9252
@fabrice9252 9 ай бұрын
Well, basically you typically use the auxiliaries 'do' and 'does' in affirmative sentences to express emphasis / insistence, when you want to highlight or insist on a particular point in your discourse. In speech, you even stress the auxiliary. For example, you could say: I DO want to help you! (= I really want to help you / I want to insist on helping you.) But I DO love you baby! (= I do really love you) You can of course use it in the past simple as well: Despite her cold, Anna DID work hard to provide us and release another wonderful podcast. (= she worked really hard) Hope that helps. :-)
