When Swami Vivekananda was in Chicago, he lost the address to the parliament of religions. He asked many a people for food and shelter, but they ignored him. Then, he was standing by the street lamp, hungry & weak. A lady named Ms. Kate Sanborn had noticed Swami and she choosed to help him as she observed the aura on his face. She referred him to Prof. Wright, who had recommended him to the parliament of religions ❤❤.

Don't worry. In Hinduism there is a sect/practice which believes in YOLO. There is a video where there is a simple introduction to 16 practices/sects.

Jesus in India isn't considered as a holy man. Jesus is considered as Christian God. We hindus do pranaam infront of pictures or murtis of Jesus just like we do in hindu temples. We aren't taught hatred and differentiation. This is core culture at the core. Compassion is the root of our collective, hindu beliefs.

Christianity or churchianity says we sinners will be saved only if we convert to Christianity. Otherwise we are doomed to eternal hell. I don't think Christianity is like this..modern westerners have come to accept this idea by the work of many great men like swami vivekananda.

Seeing & listening it in Christian perspective is not the correct way.. to understand it you need to concentrate on what he is saying.. not superficial things

He originally gave this speech to a crowd of Christians - I am sure he would have taken that into consideration when writing this speech. This speech brought the common pieces of the religions together - remarking on that isn't superficial.
