Mam, I have heard that 'which' is used to give some extra information, whereas 'that' is used to give the essential information; Both are different in usage. If it's so, how can we choose either one of them for a sentence..?!!🤔 It will be very helpful for me, if you clarify this..

On the 5th sentence is it fine to join the sentences like this madam? give me the pen to write a letter which was gifted to you on your birthday. (I used the pen only not a pen....because its specific)
@EnglishwithVennila
@EnglishwithVennila 2 жыл бұрын
No, you shouldn't. The relative clause should immediately follow the noun or pronoun it talks about. In your sentence, it looks like the letter was gifted on the birthday and not the pen.

Dangling means "தொங்கும்". When we say that a participle is dangling, we mean that it is not clear which noun it talks about. Please watch this video where I've talked about it.. kzfaq.info/sun/PLxKGe179I8LkTqYTtYR62r6SgNQleZjPO

Madam, 1)I would like to be eating an ice cream right now. 2)I would like to have already eaten 3 ice cream. 3)I would like to have been ice cream all day. 1) நான் இப்போது ஒரு ஐஸ்கிரீம் சாப்பிட விரும்புகிறேன். 2) நான் ஏற்கனவே 3 ஐஸ்கிரீம் சாப்பிட்டிருக்க விரும்புகிறேன். 3) நான் நாள் முழுவதும் ஐஸ்கிரீம் இருந்திருக்க விரும்புகிறேன். Are these translating sentences correct? Could you please please tell me?

The third sentence that you've written in English means " நாள் முழுவதும் நான் ஐஸ்கிரீமாக இருந்திருக்க விரும்புகிறேன்" which is not what you intend to say, I hope! 😀
