I have two different Mini Saws One cordless and one corded marketed by different companies. Both of them I consider very dangerous to use because of the guard covers the front of the blade in the direction of cut. I have never been able to cut a straight line unless there is a clamped edge like when you used the Speed square and the edge guide. I have tried and tried and am to the point I do not even use either of them, and wish I had not bought them. I can see in the video that even you are having a hard time controlling the saw. I love the idea of these little saws, but they are totally backwards and not only hard to use but dangerous as well. And I always love your videos. Your videos are great this is just a bad product.

Looks good. I don't understand why some saws have the blade on the left side, though. Most people are right-handed so a left-sided blade just sends sawdust all over me. Seems to be common with cordless and smaller saws?

Mine won’t cut but maybe a inch in. Then the guard won’t move any further. How do I fit that?
