Summer has truly arrived, with temperatures over 30C, the roses in full bloom, the weeds taking over, and creative chaos in the house. Time to escape to the river to cool off!

Hi Claudia, Yes we thought it might be a bit early for the river to be warm enough to swim, but we were very pleasantly proved wrong! 🏊🏼‍♀️

The weather and water was amazing. Here in western North Carolina, our weather has been unseasonably cool and wet. Good to see you back home Jenny, I’m sure you missed it, and I’m sure your family missed you.

funny how the seasons change around the world here in NZ we are getting close to winter , u are getting close to summer . its been very warm here through Autumn too . your spring sounds like u get into the 40 degrees this summer .

Hi Keith, yes it can get warm here in the summers, but there is almost always a cooling breeze too, which is very pleasant 🤗
