Hi and welcome to my channel,
In this video I will be restoring my rear brake calipers as the second part of my rear assembly series.
This process is quite simple, due to time restraints I was unable to blast and plate myself, but the results were still very good.

Have you had any issues with the install of your brake pads? I also bought the 35mm frenkit cylinders but my brake pads wont fit because the inner diameter from the cylinder is different?

Is it cheaper to do zinc plating in DDG plating than using that ZINC plating kit you used in 2020 video?

100% getting them sent off is cheaper, by a mile. But it’s down to convenience for me, which at the time was needed!

Are they zinc coated originally ? Or you wanted this kind of finish ?

Yes they were plated from factory, which I wanted to do again to keep it oem

There’s a difference between Girling and ATE callipers. Girling comes out great how ever I battle with metal on the ATE’s

Girling must add a few different materials in their castings, the plating company said it’s common to add small quantities of other metals to help the casting process. That’s usually what affects the result when plating, they use acid zinc to do this process, which you can only get with a license!
