When my patients ask me what I "think about "pellets, I tell them it's marketing .$$$$$ As a solo gynecologist, private practitioner I find nothing MORE satisfying than giving a woman HRT who has been suffering ....OR RESTARTING a patient on HRT that had been taken away from her ...usually by some well-meaning general practitioner .or cardiologist .Glad you popped up on my YT ...thank you for sharing /educating

why won’t other doctors take older women seriously? There is good data that HRT helps us. Every time I talk to a doctor about an issue and want to get to the bottom of it so I can address root cause I only hear,”Well, you know you are 64 years old.” I guess I’m supposed to just to shrivel up and die?

I am a well informed RN, 72 years old and still working at the bedside. Medicare doesn’t pay for the Climara Pro patches I had used since menopause. In desperation, I ran to a local nurse practitioner to get the estrogen/testosterone pellet implants with oral micronized progesterone. I made it through two implant cycles with a brand new rapid onset of atrial arrhythmia that looked a lot like a heart block. Heart blocks are bad because all of a sudden your atrial pacemaker just quits working & the bottom half of your heart takes over. then you get to go to the emergency room and maybe the morgue after that. Who knew that we have estrogen receptors in our heart and the endothelial tissue that lines our blood vessels? Four months after my last implant, I’m mostly in a normal sinus rhythm with occasional runs of premature atrial contractions. Atrial fibrillation may be in my future now because that part of my heart has been sensitized. I agree with the speaker. You were just lucky, so far.

Thank you.Doc. I just paid $200 to see a provider for pain management. 425 every 3 months for the pellets. 12000 for hyperbaric treatment and ketamine. I'm 57 I've had chronic pain for the last 12 years and now I'm finding out it was hormones all along. All the suffering that I've gone through since my hysterectomy and denied hormones. I'm 57 and I have the body of the 90 year old. I have severe osteoporosis. I cannot even describe to you the amount of pain that I'm in.😢

No side effects? Do your labs show your T levels are as high as a man? Enlarged clitoris, increased hair, deeper voice? That’s what’s happening to my wife right now. I trusted that medical practitioners would know better and then I randomly looked at her labs after she said she thought she was getting sides and holy shit! Her levels were over 300 no/dl!!!!! wtf?!!! You can’t have levels like that as a woman and it bothers me affect you. Of course you will feel good. When bodybuilders are on anabolic steroids they feel amazing but it’s destroying them internally. It’s disgusting and malpractice. I 100% agree with what this doctor is saying. These other quacks should be thrown in prison for this. I’m fighting the urge to go to prison at this very moment. You can fuck with me but mess with my wife and I’ll end you!!! How does one transition after receiving pellet therapy? After watching your video and having my testosterone levels at 334 before my last insertion, I realize that the reinsertion appointment should not have been done until my labs were checked. However, that's beside the point now. I know that my testosterone levels are too high, and after listening to your video, I want to improve my hormones responsibly. I would also like to find a doctor who practices the way you do in my area. It can be difficult to get accurate information and trust that the motivations behind certain actions are accurate.

Pellets are sold as a "set it & forget it" solution! No creams, no need to remember to take your hormones, it's all done for you, just relax. Just after 1 insertion, I knew it was a mistake for me! My levels were too high (I had my blood levels tested). I felt awful post 3 months, and coached myself with positive factual words of my body is readjusting after these crazy ass levels! Switched to estrodial patch, micronized progesterone, along with intrarosa DHEA. I feel great! My thinking is good, sleep is good, energy is good. I'm happy! My bloodwork is optimal. I'm 59 yrs old. I'm so happy that I found your channel, your delivery is brilliant and you're real! Thank you from Canada. 🥰🇨🇦

I too had pellets. Testosterone made my hair thinner. I stopped using them after getting information that they are not FDA approved. Now I’m in HRT-estradiol and progesterone but my new gynecologist is against it, she prescribed it to me with an attitude because I insisted that I had the right to get treatment for my hormones deficiency. I even told her that I felt like she was my enemy. I’m still looking for a new doctor knowledgeable in hormonal therapy but here in Puerto Rico it is difficult.

I have done the pellet...yes, the first insert your levels are high for about two weeks n so is your level of rage (horrible) but it tapers off. It is not "dug in" it is inserted. I really liked it BUT I am someone who scars so I developed a scar at the insertion point that I got treated. So, I stopped. My doc gauged my level via lab work. I only re-upped when my labs indicated I need it. I 💯 agree---do not go to DABBLERS bc when you mess up your hormones getting them back in order is a nightmare. Lastly, DIM most definitely lowers your estrogen level. Doc, I think you can convey the information without lacing it w bias and hyperbolic verbiage.

What are a woman’s hormones supposed to be?
@laurafuller8528

Human beings can be fully committed to something that injures them, unfortunately, until they learn the lesson for themselves…often through injury. I love my testosterone cream, which I take every other day or every 3 days…depending on how I feel. I can’t imagine outsourcing the control I have over how much testosterone cream I take to a self dosing pellet. HAVING to feel whatever dose happened to emit every day would make me feel like a prisoner to its effects. I absolutely can feel the effects of the testosterone I take within the first hour I take it. I work out fairly hard, and testosterone days are easier both in strength and endurance. If it were possible to rub that cream on without my knowing, I could accurately identify the days I took it from the days I did not. Additionally, testosterone keeps skin looking younger. It isn’t only the estradiol that helps in that arena. (Which I also take via cream) Creams are better for so many reasons… You do have to learn about hormones, or you will be the one arguing the wrong side of the argument.

I have only just seen 2 of your posts, think they are great. I am in Australia. I am on the slow dissolve pills with testosterone and progesterone for osteoporosis, 63 years old and pretty healthy. The two rotten things after being on them are bigger breasts n tummy, and hair falling out. Been on them about 2 years and have lowered doses. But my bone density went up a bit so that is good. My specialist dr refused any oestrogen for whole time until my last meeting where I insisted on cream but havent started yet. As I felt should be balancing them all. My big question is What are the correct or most suitable levels to help our age and keep bones happy? No one really tells you. Thanks again for your posts and candid style very entertaining as well as informative. Kind regards Tracy
