This will work on vehicle heater cores too! Save your self the time with Rydlme1st then if its still no heat its not your heater core as it will be flowing fully after flushing with this! before puling out a heater core assembly!

I have been to all of our local shops and they all sell salt A Way? But no descaler like Rydlyme, just Salt A Way and after years of Salt A Way I had lots of scale build up and a damaged motor and parts. I was and still am a professional motor builder not for just streets cars but we race to the fullest potential of any engine and chassis we are on! Have you ever done a test flushing in the same manner with vinegar? I just ordered some Rydlyme, but was curious how vinegar would work.

HI, @everyone, If you flush with Rydlyme and not Salt a Way you will be able to completely clean out the entire engine. DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN AND WILL LITTERALLY KNOW IF THERE IS ANY BUILD UP IN THE ENGINE (all of the engine) BY READING A SIMPLE PH TOOL! And to clean the entire engine just flush with the correct product. All that buildup of scale and salt deposits are also down in the blocks and heads water jackets so poking at it or scrapping just some of it won’t be anything but a temp fix.. I have built a self flushing system or even rinsing with Rydlyme instead of Salt A Way will clean the inside of all your water jackets! Fact: you can measure PH to determine if your engines block, thermostats, pop valves, rubber gaskets, heads ports, water jackets and anywhere that water flows, have any build up in them!!! This means if you get a used motor, you can flush and read the levels of PH and now when the engine is like new inside! If you buy it from a dealer, they should have done this for you if they are good at maintaining engines and selling quality testing equipment. Ask what they flush with and that will tell you if it’s a safe motor fully cleaned. SALT A WAY DOES NOT DO THIS, “CAUTION” IT MAY ONLY DISLODGE BUT NOT DISOLVE BUILD UP OF SCALING, CAUSING MORE DAMAGE AS IT DOES NOT BREAK DOWN SCALLING THATS HELD ONTO THE WALLS BY SALT. I tried Saltaway first, and Rydlyme one week after. Rydlyme for the win. The gunk out of my motor was crazy after an entire day of flushing using an 1100gph bilge pump with Rydlyme. I think Saltaway is only good straight after you pull the boat from the water.

Real simple salt away is not a descaler!! It's actually a real waste of money.
