Күн бұрын#JeepXJ Today we continued to work on the engine for my daughter's 2000 Jeep Cherokee. We separated the engine from the transmission and replaced some Oil seals!
We Replaced the Oil Filter adapter seal,
The front harmonic balancer seal on the timing cover
and the transmission input seal on the input of the pump for the torque converter...
The project continues!
This is the 28th episode of the ongoing project to rebuild a Jeep Cherokee XJ for my 16 year old daughter.

Do the rear main just because, it's so much easier to do when out

Oil leaks on a 4.0 inline 6? Don't you just mean a normal 4.0? I thought they came from the factory with all those leaks

Naw, most of them waited until you get home from the dealer to leak 😂😂😂

@MalarkeyTaylor oh yeah you right. You gotta perform that break in first. I recently worked on one, valve cover gasket looked fantastic but did nothing at all, leaked all the way around. That was interesting. I guess it was a model year where they colabed with Harley.
