DIY Engineering, I am adding a streamdeck to my shapeoko at the shop. I downloaded the files shared, got the latest version of UGS for Windows, and uploaded the macros there. I have (gratefully) uploaded and am using the streamdeck profile provided, looks great. However, it seems unclear where to upload the UGS profile XLM file. I am assuming its doing some keymapping allowing the streamdeck to communicate with the UGS, but the XML format seems to not take. Any quick fixes? Thank you D3PC

This is awesome use of the Stream Deck as a pendant! I have downloaded the profile to alter and set up for cnc usage. PC cooling is cool 😉 but an All-In-One like the cw3000 is a lot easier and has a pump that will outdo any PC pump, it has a built in alarm, 9L tank (which keeps it cooler longer) and temperature monitoring. it’s not refrigerated but neither is the radiator setup. I’ve done both and will never go back to PC parts.

For much less than the cost of the parts to build your spindle cooling, any reason you didn't just go with an S&A CW-3000 ambient chiller? For only a little more than what you paid, you could have gone with a CW-5000 refrigerated chiller.

For instance kzfaq.info/get/bejne/atqgq8qLur-rg30.html I've seen some videos on how to do closed loop steppers so that if the stepper has problems the driver stops it so it doesn't destroy itself but the closed loop approach looks to be extremely complicated.
