I agree with the Teen Wolf stuff. I'm a horror classicist and I cannot stand pop-culturally re-appropriating stuff just for the sake of it, specially when it makes no sense! His mum gets shot in the head after getting caught eating chickens. His dad was a werewolf in high-school and made his principle piss himself when they were at school together. Anyone over the age of 40 knows full well there is a werewolf issue and yet, somehow, NO ONE mentions any history of werewolves in this town. A town, I might add that is 100% middle class, whiter than white suburbia. And they have a 5'2" Micheal J Fox being a BASKETBALL player that gets picked for his school team BEFORE he was a werewolf!!
