Early 1930s animation was inspired by black-faced minstrel performers of the time and the white gloves are a remnant of that vaudevillian style of dress. Not racist on its own but has its roots in some gross depictions of black people. I personally love the white gloves as a purely aesthetic choice. Also having 4 fingers is cheaper but also bigger fingers are easier for the audience to observe and having 4 means you have more room to make the fingers bigger and easier for the audience to see

A good joke to tell someone older than 25 is "What's Lorena Bobbit's favorite kitchen utensil?" They'll inevitably answer with "A knife?" Then, you counter with "No. It's chopsticks", but say it like "Chops dicks."

The purpose of a selfie stick is to get a more flattering angle, and to show more of a person than just a fish-eyed view of their face. Check out a website or video showing the difference between close and low zoom vs far and high zoom. It's a big difference.
@ArtOfficialKreations4 жыл бұрын
In reference to the debate starting @1:08:40 ~ ~ The reason behind the gloves in early era animation is so that the hands wouldn’t “disappear” against the body. For instance: imagine Mickey Mouse rubbing his tummy in hunger with & then without gloves..

Too bad they're divorced now...He fucked up on that one. She seems like a very happy, cheerful, outgoing person. Paired with Dan's reclusive, self-deprecating nature, it was ultimately doomed to failure. They fought way too much. Even on camera, dialogue on any topic devolves to arguments about their relationship and you can see they are just too different for each other.
