Very clearly presented information. Moves along quickly but not too fast. Even this 79 year old Granny ( retired millwright and sanitary process welder ) can follow along nicely. I am still learning and share tech info with my son and grandson. Want to give my grandchildren every advantage of technology along with practical skills to assist with their success in the world and lives. Thanks

This was amazing. These are all systems in an engine I have a theoretical understanding of and have always been too intimidated to think about working with. However I have a basic practical understanding of circuits and such and never realized how easy it actually was to put that practical knowledge against the theory and see the results. You have just expanded my knowledge and abilities in a whole new direction with this straightforward explanation.

That "Jimbo" Color code - heheh totally appropriate, and if you are dealing with people used to working around electrical systems, the green replacing the black is the perfect choice. Another instructor and me go round and round and friggin ROUND over using green wires on control circuitry - he is from an HVAC background and I am from (originally) an automotive background - most industrial control circuits use black as a 120V HOT (L1) connection and green is Ground - instead of 12V Negative ( - ) for black and Green as a signal wire. Since we teach introductory electricity for both automotive and industrial classes - trying to keep each side happy is a thing!
@robotcantina8957
@robotcantina8957 3 жыл бұрын
Green seemed to be the most logical choice for the ground wire, because as you say, it is ground for some folks. Of course professionally, I would never use green for ground on a DC circuit. ... but for youtube, anything goes.

@@markmmm1737 I paid off my mortgage working on cars in various dealerships and independent garages. Also in automotive practice, the three wire plugs are made in such a way that they only plug in one way. If it is a quality brand, each plug on the harness is made a little different so that there is less confusion when plugging things in. Such as when doing an engine swap. Remember, there are always exceptions.

NOOOO I'm caught up to your current video! I only found your channel a day or two ago and have been loving going through the videos. Can't wait for more! I know absolutely nothing about small engines but have found all this fascinating. I think it makes sense to move forward with your plans as outlined (I like how you have a rough plan for your overall direction going back to the first video) but once that's all done it might be interesting to see how much power you can get out of the original 212cc engine (efi, Turbo, etc.).

I would definitely like to EFI the 212cc engine, however I'm nor sure the little engine would respond well to the turbo. You see, the turbo relies on exhaust to power the turbine and such a little engine may only generate sufficient exhaust pressure in the upper RPM range. The 420 is going to be a stretch.

@@robotcantina8957 I don't have scientific data, but I think plenty of perfectly nice weekends are being given over to the binge craze. We are binge - watching videos from ROBOT CANTINA😛😛😋😋
