Thanks for the video! I picked up a mint DS-40 for 10 bucks and it had lines. Thanks to your video, this scanner is working perfectly!

Eric, awesome video! My scanner had somehow picked up some adhesive on the scanner bar, causing a vertical black line on all my scans. Thanks to your tip I'm back in business.

I wish you had a before and after shot. Show what it looked like before you cleaned it and how much better it looks afterwards.

It worked. What a great tip. Love my Epson scanner, plagued for a long time with dirty scans. Unfortunately I ordered the $11 cleaning kit before I saw this helpful tip. Do you know anyting about clogged drains? bw

Best way to clean the rubber roller itself for feeding docs?

A little alcohol on a q-tip. Alcohol dissolves anything sticky and usually does the job.

How about epson w60 ? Does anybody know how to clean it?

This is the first time I've seen this video. I know you posted this over a year ago, but I have to ask: did you try it on your ES-60W? I think that's what you're saying you have. It looks very similar to the one he's using and I'm going to try it when I have time.
