I was at Saratoga in the 70s when he opened with this on his electric. I will never forget those first notes. The audience went freakin crazy.

i hope people realize we are living in a time, the golden age, of gifted musicians. clapton, knopfler, townshend, gilmour, meine, daltrey, perry, etc, etc. enjoy them while they're with us. probably will never be another generation like this again.

Shows what one can do with the flat top guitar. Clapton knows that the early blues players used the flat top as their music maker. I love the tones that he can do when there are no peddles and buttons to twist and turn to made sounds. It is all done with you fingers!
