If you dig Frampton, there's an awesome video on KZfaq, Frampton playing in Oakland in '77. He does a 25 minute "extended version" of "Do You Feel Like We Do" where he even outs his guitar down for a while, and actually plays the Drums REALLY great. It was a Festival day with Frampton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Santana, and Outlaws. If you dig Skynyrd, they played Knebworth Festival in 76 where they blew The Stones away. Got to tell you, i'm 20 years old and is not that I HATE watching my friends hearing to this mainstream bs from nowadays, but it makes me deeply sad. This people, this LEGENDS worked their way to the top by beeing the bests, innovating and beeing true to their music. True musicians with TRUE talent. Meanwhile what matters today is howmany followers you have on instagram and if you are pretty and since no longer music has to be melodic apparently, any "influencer" can be a musician. Then we are stuck with noise rather than music. I hear many times "I just a matter of taste'' but I'm not buying it. Objectively this music is rich, melodical, the lyrics have meaning (other than b*tches, money and expensive clothing). I don't care about your "taste", you simply CAN'T compare a Clapton solo with a "lil' whatever" song that says "gucci gang" over and over.

I’ve seen a lot of great guitarists live: Jimi Hendrix on 12/31/69 at the Fillmore East, Mick Taylor and Keith Richards at the Garden when the Stones recorded “Get Your Ya Yas Out”, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Albert King, Carlis Santana, Jimmy Paige, Jeff Beck, Tommy Emmanuel, even Eric Clapton, but I would trade every one of those concerts to have been able to see this live. Peter Frampton, the absolute modal master, and Eric Clapton, pentatonic blues king, paying tribute to George Harrison. I grew up on Clapton but it wasn’t until I started studying music, following Rick Beato and playing guitar again that I realized just how absolutely insanely good Peter Frampton is. What a joy to watch this, two masters of their craft, no competition, no egos, music for music’s sake. Frampton shows that he is a serious talent on the guitar. Equally as melodic and bluesy as Clapton. With a gritty tone. And he can sing pretty good too...

I don’t think anybody has more fun playing a guitar than Peter Frampton. He plays, he laughs, he sings and he competes with Eric Clapton. When the 2 of them make music together, it’s something you’ll never forget. Absolutely phenomenal.

Eric has been on a steady rise since about 1991, every year since then he gets better at playing. Unbelievable. There is nothing in history to compare it to. Just to update the fanbase. This is Peter's concert. He chose a seminal Beatles song to play and invited Eric, who played guitar ON THE ORIGINAL RECORD to join him. Guitar players know Peter is legitimately underrated (by non-guitar players I would say) but as you can see here, he can play with the best. This is a tribute to George, nothing more.
