As a manager, you can't be punished for players making clumsy fouls in the box and not paying attention when the opponent takes a corner kick in the last minute. They need to be ruthless in their selection and squad decisions moving forward.

@@oscarinlopez546 Sure, but when Ten Hag came in I think he probably wanted to let 12 players go. mcTominay, Wan Bissaka, De Gea, Martial, Maguire, Fred, so many players that didn't fit the standard of Man U. On top of that, he had to deal with Greenwood, C Ronaldo and Sancho. When he was able to sign a striker, he lost C Ronaldo and ended up with only 1 number 9. They couldn't move Maguire on (he was atrocious versus Chelsea) and they now simply don't have the team to play out a game and keep the ball. Add to this the off-pitch issues of Antony and the debilitating list of injuries of players that actually are Man U material ( Shaw, Martinez, Mount) and you can see where the issues lie. I think Man United need another summer of overhaul and not just to let players go ( Martial, Maguire, Wan Bissaka, McTominay and even Rashford) but to replace them with top class players. Apart from the money side of things, you can not easily get top players if you don't play CL football.

A team can dominate and control the game, even if they sit back the whole time. People often associate dominance and control with ball possession and stats, but that is not always true. @@PhilipKerry at the cost of control in our midfield. We have little control and structure to begin with. Then Mctominay just runs forward and leaves Mainoo isolated. Rashford has the talent no doubt about that. But as the old saying goes..hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. Rashford is lazy, and he isn’t good enough to be lazy defensively.

pity this man… he is actually a good coach…he should keep rasmus,Antony,garnacho,mount,AWB Martinez ,Bruno,Maino,and Shaw…dalot has been good this season so I will cut him some slack just this time…..he should axe everybody else and build a team around the players I mentioned…and also with better signings that are willing to run and fight for their lives for 90mins….if he does this he will be fine…get rid of rashford pls…he adds no spark to the team off the ball…even on it…he is not fearless and..strolls like he is a bad bitch in every game…it’s pathetic for someone getting paid that much
