Those red hands signifies Lord Krishna as Lord Krishna also used to keep his hands red. The way she swings little Krishna in "nand ke laal" (shree krishna) 0:51 with thread swinging the little krishna like Yashoda did. And in "Hari yeh chunariya Jo jhatke se keechi" 2:31 is Krishna pulling Radha's "dupatta" and on the second hand she covered Radha pulling her dupatta back. And in "dekhu dekhu tujhko mai hoke nihaar" she represents the "Gopis" 1:07. She also makes flute and peacock feather with her hands in "mai toh rangi Hari Hari ke naam" 2:56. The song is all on Radhakrishnan love... ❤

@@vaishalirawat8825 "mohe ran do laal means" marry me as in "put the red colour (sindoor) on my trichion (maang)" that's why in the starting scene the lady behind are throwing red colour in the air. After saying those lines she later convinces him by saying my love for you is like the love of Krishna and Radha. "Hari hari" means Vishnu then she says "mai toh rangi Hari hari ke rang" as in even if you reject me I'll still worship the lord for your better good.

Watch Pakeezah, Umrao Jaan (original with Rekha playing Umrao Jaan), Dev Das (with Shah Rukh Khan as Dev Das, for elaborate glamorous sets, dances and songs), even though Dev Das with Dilip Kumar does justice to the simple story of Dev Das, and if you like Indian Classical dances and music, watch Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje, Ladaki Sahyadri ki, Navrang. These are very good movies with good classical music, dances and sets. There are many more. These immediately came to mind.

I guess I have to wait 10 years when the actress gets old for people to stop comparing her to others and appreciate her without putting other women down too. This is the strength of Indian classical music. One of the best Bollywood songs after year 2000. I read in an interview that Bhansali was imagining how would RDBurman have composed this song and Sanjayji came up with this amazingly wonderful tune. OMG, hats off to both Bhansali as well as RD Burman who could inspire another composer to come up with this intoxicating melody.

It's movie scenes like these that make me want to travel to India. The background looks like one of those famous forts in Rajasthan or Madhya Pradesh. I would love to see these sights. I'm also a huge lover of Indian food, so just tasting all those meals would be worth traveling 10,000 km. Once COVID-19 travel restrictions lift, I will plan my trip. Cheers from New York City! :D

It's like they hire the same three architects to do the new and modern in all the big cities of the world. It's depressing. But the old places are the best--you can't get that anywhere, and India has A LOT of old places. I would love to see and oooh and ahhhh the old buildings and the old art and then dream of olden times, like in this movie scene, which is the best part of traveling for me. I lived in China for a time and that's all I did--go to the ancient places, the old palaces, the old temples, and just lose myself. I wanna do the same in India.

Her grace is unmatched. Her execution of the choreography is mesmerising. People may have related more with kashis character but you simply cannot deny that deepika nailed the ethereal grace of mastani. I can't imagine any other actress doing it better. Bhansali's casting was spot on. Deepika as Mastani, PC as Kashi Ranveer and Bajirao.

But do suggest me movies like Bajirao mastani. I have a thing for historical movies and series. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has confessed that while composing the tune for this song he was thinking "How would have Rahul Dev Burman composed this song?" and in the process SLB came up and finalised this tune. Not because of this fact, but this is one of the best tunes by SLB without a doubt. Hats off. Very rarely has SLB come up with such subtle tunes. Otherwise his career as a music director isn't very popular. He extracts excellent work out of Ismail Durbar. The music of HDDCS and Devdas still lingers over the mind and remains memorable and popular among movie music buffs than any other movie music by Bhansali. So true.
