Ragnarok may be essential because of Thanos's ship at the end If you go into Infinity War not having seen it, you'll probably be wondering why Thor, Loki, and a bunch of asgardians are on a space ship

Avengers was my gateway into MCU films (I was always been more of an X-men girl), and I can say that it was a great starting place. There were a few moments where I felt like I was missing something (which I assumed was because I hadn’t read the comics not that I missed previous films); however, for the most part I followed along just fine and liked the feeling of being just thrown into the action. It has a great introduction to all the characters. For phase one, Avengers is essential. One can always go back and watch the other phase one films later.

I was more x men at first, just because when I was younger all the comics my cousin gave me were x men, but it was First Avenger that truly got me into the Avengers, obviously I had heard of them but never really read or watched anything of them

A classic to me, is the movie you want to watch with your children when they're old enough because it's just a great story or piece of cinema that everyone needs in their personal library of movies they've seen. Great show, really enjoyed it!

Superhero Fatigue already exists but more Avatar sequels is not the solution. 10 years ago if you told me I couldnt be arsed to see the Justice League in theatres I'd have laughed in your face. The thing is good movies will always be in demand and Marvel are keeping this juggernaut rolling pretty well so far.

Ronan Kelly IMO, there’s no fatigue if the movies are good. It’s the Justice Leagues and BvS’s if the world that set the fatigue in.

Just a little later and the Venom trailer could have been discussed. The symbiote looks and sounds better than the Spider-Man 3 version at least, but I didn't get the feeling it'd be anything special.

I think the most essential going into infinity war are civil war and rangarok, these two include every character that is in infinity war and you can see what all of their backstories are somewhat

Civil War maybe my second favorite because I always compare it to comic book which is better. So I always have it stuck in my head that there is a better version of this movie

essential films - iron man, first cap, avengers, winter soldier, guardians, civil war. favourite - Avengers is the obvious choice and it's one of my favourite films of all time but winter soldier and iron man totally changed the script on super hero movies so they deserve a spot too.

Ok, so to all of you complaint that this episode was uploaded late, you can get it earlier on ITunes and other platforms. This also means that they couldn’t have covered the Venom trailer because it dropped a full day, at least, after this was recorded. /rant.

Essentials; Avengers Guardians of the Galaxy Captain America: Civil War If we need a fourth I would add Age of Ultron. My favourites; Incredible Hulk, personally I love this film and I feel it is really under appreciated. However, it is a poor MCU entry and is best seen as a stand alone. Captain America: Winter Soldier, brought so much needed life back to MCU. Doctor Strange, I really loved this film sometimes seem to stand alone on this.

It's definitely hard to argue against the first Avengers being the most essential film overall, but my top 3 favorites are Cap TFA, Cap TWS, then Black Panther.

I was thinking how good the captain America mkvies are in terms that all three movies at the core is about steve and bucky; that way if steve dies and bucky is the new cap, we have just as much backstory and understanding. Pretty smart imo

I'd say, probably Thor, The First Avenger, The Avengers, The Dark World, The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Age of Ultron, Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, probably Thor Ragnorak (Haven't seen it yet, Idk) and Black Panther are the only ones really needed to see before Infinity War. Also I suppose the solo movies leading up to the first Avengers, so that movie makes sense, Idk. *Keep in mind this is before seeing (Well, hearing lol) the video*

I think if you've never seen a Marvel movie going into Infinity War, you could get by just watching Civil War, Guardians 2, and Ragnarok at minimum. I think those three are the most essential, and across the three of them all of the characters are introduced that'll be seen in Infinity War. Civil War definitely works the least as a standalone film, but Guardians 2 can work probably without seeing the first one, all the characters are introduced again and you can get the idea, and most of their characterizations have changed significantly anyway. Ragnarok definitely works the best as a movie on it's own, and is the most essential going into Infinity War out of any Marvel movie.

Going along the force spirit needing an attachment to the person to see a force spirit, so force visions or audio can be heard by anyone? Rey was able to hear everyone that she has no attachment to in Episode 7.

These are ranked from BEST to WORST (please don't hurt me) Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 6/7 Spider-Man Homecoming - 6/7 The Avengers - 6/7 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 - 5/7 Iron Man 3 - 5/7 Iron Man - 5/7 Thor: Ragnarok - 5/7 Guardians of the Galaxy - 5/7 Doctor Strange - 4/7 Ant-Man - 4/7 Black Panther - 4/7 Captain America: Civil War - 3/7 Age of Ultron - 3/7 Thor - 3/7 Captain America: The First Avenger - 3/7 Thor: The Dark World - 2/7 The Incredible Hulk - 2/7 Iron Man 2 - 2/7 If you had to pick 3 movies to see, I would agree with you guys, though I would see Thor: Ragnarok as well.

1. GotG Vol. 2 2. The Winter Soldier 3. Spider-Man Homecoming 4. Guardians of the Galaxy 5. Civil War 6. Ant-Man 7. Ragnarok 8. Black Panther 9. The First Avenger 10. Age of Ultron 11. Avengers 12. Doctor Strange 13. Iron Man 14. Thor 15. Iron Man 3 16. The Dark World 17. Incredible Hulk 18. Iron Man 2 Guardians 2 was the most emotional, heavy-hitting story for me, and the CG visuals pulled me into that world more than any other movie ever has. Ego's planet felt so real.

Mike Hawk absolutely. Iron Man was a great start, but the MCU has improved. Sticking to Iron Man as a favorite is like saying Mario Kart 64 is the best racing game. It was amazing at the time, but there have been many better iterations since. And GotG 2 is the only superhero movie to make me cry.

I actually have a problem with how Eddie says' We ARE VENOM'. Couldn't they just focus on VENOM, or say the whole thing under the Venom voice?. The way he says it in the trailer is just....irking me so hard idk why
