If the Qing Dynasty had been like you were in running it, they'd still be around and a superpower. Europe's nations wouldn't have dared to mess with it like they did in real life.

Seeing this makes me realize how the Qing squandered their advantages. They were at one point a superpower that expanded China to its greatest territorial extent and had a powerful calvary-centered army that kicked serious ass. Even the Russians were no match for the Qing Chinese at one point but alas, they allowed themselves to stagnate like the Ming Dynasty before them and fall behind the European nations which eventually led to their downfall. While the Qing DID suffer from problems beyond their control, they could've been stemmed by continuing to advance technologically and by expanding their influence throughout Eastern Asia. They could've also agreed to trade with the British in the late 1700's and get technologies that they lacked from them but make it clear that they're NOT to be treated as "dumb savages" like the British were treating the Indians.

I liked how you named all your colonial nations and clients states in Chinese. Colonial Mexico = Mexico in Chinese, colonial Australia = "southern territory" in Chinese, Southeast Asia client state = Vietnam in Chinese.

This guy makes it look easy. I started with Jianzhou about 5 times now and Ming seems to be impossible to beat. Yes, all cav army, fight on flatlands blah blah blah, they still have 70-80k army with Korea, I don't know in what manner the stars aligned for this guy but he definitely didn't pull this off first try.

Hey, I'm having real problems with Manchu. I can conquer the 3 tribes required, Burytia and Korchin, however I cannot do this without being riddled with provincial unrest and monetary issues. Couple that with having Mongolia untouchable due to Oirat being untouchable and Ming even with it's rebel problem still completely overpowers me. Is there an actual strategy as to how you blob to form Qing, and what ideas are you meant to take as them?

Great campagin I already tried several times to make a Qing run but always failed. Maybe the cav only does the trick. How did you siege Mings capitals though? I just lose way to much time and money to siege their forts down. Whenever I do they just return with giant armies to beat me back into my lands and I can barely white peace.

How did you find getting institutions to spread to you in the far east? I haven't played RoM/1.18 yet but it seems to me like it must be difficult to catch up if you're not in Europe.

I tried the all units cavalry strategy against Ming, and my armies only killed like a thousand men on their side while my army got completely wiped in the first battle. Am i missing something? I was fighting them on steppe too (defensive battle)
