It would be super rude of Eugenia to say no to a trip on Jeffrees private jet

I’ve said it before and nobody can change my mind. Jeffree sees this as her Make A Wish trip. I don’t disagree.

I honestly think Jeffrey is doing this to build up his image and put himself in the spotlight to be one of the main people to interview once the inevitable happens

He is doing all of this for views and selling products. I mean I'm glad she's having fun, but it doesn't mean that he is being genuine.

I am very conflicted about what Jeffree is doing. I mean at this point what can anyone really do? Getting help is solely on Eugenia’s shoulders, so if Jeffree can give her a fun trip? Why not? She seems to be able to get around and is not too prohibited by her illness at this point. She seems to be having a good time, HOWEVER, where I take pause is the constant pushing of his pallet. The gaslighting. Saying this Eugenia is his friend of 15 years when that’s not the case? Using the intrigue of her to constantly go live and I see he has his stuff on TikTok shop while getting ready to push more. The fact that some people really think Jeffree only had good intentions..they see him as a good guy and maybe will pick up his pallet to support him because he is “supporting” Eugenia. I don’t think he only had bad intentions but I don’t think it’s as simple as bringing a friend on a trip either…

as a therapist & social worker, and a survivor of emotional abuse her asking to wash her hands & constantly apologizing is a trauma response, and is a symptom from long term emotional abuse that causes Complex PTSD - specifically constantly apologizing etc is actually called the “fawn response.” Someone (I think we have a good idea who) has definitely emotionally abused her to the point where she developed C-PTSD and it explains a lot of her infantile and people pleasing behavior, as well as her Anorexia as it is usually over the desire to control something in your life when you can’t control anything else (i.e. emotional abuse) i also developed anorexia in 2019 after dealing w emotional abuse my whole childhood. edit: yes, I know she’s also an adult. but when you’ve been emotionally abused for so long there’s something called learned helplessness as well as codependency and esp when the emotional abuse is all she’s ever known, it’s her normal. it’s why abuse victims can’t just “walk away”, it’s never that easy.

Five minutes before this was uploaded I watched a video of Jeffree snapping at Eugenia. I thought a few things. He had no shirt on so I wondered if he had the house broiling for her. Just had a winter storm in Montana and the temp dropped from 80 to 30. And she reminded me of my young kids when I’m extremely stressed and they’re just jabbering away. She is so emotionally stunted and has no idea how to communicate or read the room when someone is agitated. I think Eugenia’s constant nonsensical talking and sucking up and the nerves she displays around Jeffree have got to be a lot. But I did feel sorry for her. I used to try and ingratiate myself to my father like that and he would just snap out of the blue and it felt like being physically wounded. It was embarrassing. I don’t think Jeffree is kind or cares about her but I do think Eugenia can wear on a person. We see it with Deb, too. He was clearly on edge and Eugenia just has no idea about social queues.

I feel like you are the only person on KZfaq that acknowledges this in the most respectful way, and you see it exactly how I see things. I feel the start to Eugenia's recover is getting away from her mother. I feel that Jeffree is using her, but in a way it is also helping Eugenia at the same time.

Eugenia complimenting Jeffree and apologizing for the most nebulous things really just makes me think that she learned to be this way from her parents. It just reeks of insecurity and pining for validation and acceptance. It's watching these interactions that really just make me feel for Eugenia. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors at her home, but I'm led to believe that it's much worse than we understand.

*I think this visit will do her good. She's finally out of that gloomy room and socialising with her peers, surrounded by nature and animals rather than pluche toys*

I think if there is a villain in this story, it’s her family, not Jeffrey. They watch how she lives her life on a daily basis beyond the small bit we see, and do nothing. Her immaturity and naïveté speaks volumes of the isolation she’s lived in. Jeffrey is being a friend, he’s maybe trying to show her there are so many other things and so much life available to her outside of her bedroom. And we have no idea if he is trying to talk to her and help her when the phones aren’t recording. One thing we know for sure about him is he will say what he thinks so I don’t see him not having an honest conversation with her since he does seem bothered by it.

The fawn response from Complex PTSD from trauma/emotional abuse which she’s showing w the constantly apologizing/asking for permission for little things is defined as: “The fawn response is when an individual tries to avoid or minimize distress or danger by pleasing and appeasing the threat. Someone responding in this way would do whatever they can to keep the threat, or abuser, happy despite their own needs and wants.”

I was thinking about this whole situation last night, eugenia sits in her room, in very revealing outfits, in her parents house, talking to 99% strangers shes never met in person at almost 30yo. If she was really "fine" do you really think her parents would be ok with that? Its actually really weird and kinda creepy. Her dad knows that she is in there, almost naked talking to strangers. Does she leave her room with full bra exposed and red sequin mini dress on? It just baffles me! My daughters are 18 and 20 and i just cant picture being ok with them living in my home like that, even taking away the ed business! Her bra and underwear are on display so much at this point like girl? What are you doing?

The "wash my hands" question stems from abuse.... as someone who has allowed a few ppl to mentally and emotionally abuse me, I can say with ZERO doubt she has sustained a load of mental abuse.... its really quite sad because she can't get away from the abuse!

As soon as Jordy uploads a new video, I now yell “LET’S GOOOO!!!” 🤣🤣🤣

Jeffree is a opportunist and a phenomenal businessman, he knew that this would benefit him by stepping up. Jeffree knows that Eugenia worships the ground he walks on. Jeffree also knows the severity of the hour. He has somewhat of bleeding heart, I think Jeffree thinks if he doesn’t try to reach out that it would look very bad on him, after all Eugenia has built Jeffree up for many years….what ever he is doing I hope it helps her….she can’t last much longer doing this. As sad as it is to say, Eugenia’s body will eventually break down. I can’t stress this enough, I really hope whatever Jeffree is doing helps her….it’s getting late in the game for Eugenia….the reality of it all is pretty frightening.

Jordy, a thoughtful and compassionate commentary, and I agree 100% ….. as for Jeffree, this seems like exploitation no matter how you slice it. If he truly wanted to help, I think he would be doing it in private, and not pushing his products at every opportunity. Still, you pretty much nailed it today. This is an unfolding tragedy, and it will only end one way. For me, it will always have a nightmarish tinge to it.

Jordy you popped up in my recommended video about a fortnight ago, and now I’m heavily invested in this whole thing. My husband and I are both recovered from ED’s, he had anorexia, myself bulimia, we both abused constipation medicine and have lasting effects, it sure isn’t pretty. We are both blessed to be better, we didn’t know each other until we were both recovered and met organically in the world. It hurts so much to see Eugenia saying the same crap I used to say, using the same excuses, enjoying the attention and all the body checking. I freaking loved the attention, the more attention I got both positive and negative, the more gusto it gave me to take it further. The mental and sheer physical pain she must be hiding is beyond words. Eating Disordered people are akin to addicts in my opinion, very deceptive and very good at working a situation or scenario. If she doesn’t truly see what we see, she will not receive help, at best she will be 51 50’d again, get healthier, come out and go right back to her old ways. There’s only so much a body can take and it breaks my heart that this girl can still be online giving other disordered people someone to look up to, a goal of sorts. I hope, pray (I’m not even religious in a proper sense, but I’ll try anything for her at this point) and truly desire that she can see that this is no way to live, and to receive help. Xxx

Honestly I think her hanging out with the wrong crowd is better for her than rotting in a bedroom. At least hanging out with the wrong crowd will put her in more situations to meet the right crowd. She needs life experience.

I know Jeffree Star has ulterior motives. I’ve been watching him since 2015 and am a big fan of his makeup. His stuff use to sell out within minutes of his releases so you would have to be logged into his website an hour ahead of time. With this last release of “Gothic Beach” he allowed ppl on TikTok shop the night before to buy his collection and even after that when it released the following day to the public on his site it still didn’t sell out. I was blown away by that! That says a lot about how he’s doing in his brand so having Eugenia to push his product MAKES PERFECT SENSE! Just like you said many of times.

Eugenia always is very fawning of others and that tends to be a sign of somebody who has faced abuse and had to fawn to survive. That to me signals that a very crucial person in her life has been unpredictability flying off on her usually it’s a parent but it could also be her brother who is autistic

Coming from a professional psychology position, Ana is and can be fatal, which most know. Even when you are "recovered", you will always be in recovery, for most. Once someone reaches Eugenia's stage, it's almost impossible to reach them, to get the help they need. In addition, physically her body will not be able to digest solid foods for a very long time, ie; months. She is heading toward the end. I'm not saying for people to stop wishing for healing, but I do believe no amount of concerned voiced to Eugenia, will get any positive outcome. That doesn't mean anyone has to keep their feelings to themselves. We're human. Sadly, her ED is so deeply rooted and she'd have to want the help in order for her to sustain health long term. Putting her in a 5150 will give her a very little more time, but she would return to her present state of illness. So, I agree, at this point, being kind to someone who is indeed dying, would be the humane thing to do. It's a heartbreaking situation. Eugenia deserved better parents. I truly believe they could have gotten a hold of this 15 years ago and gotten her help. They just didn't want to. They rather bury their heads in the sand, and portray a stable family appearance.

I'm glad shes having fun. It will be nice to have these fun memories and clips to look back on one day of her just smiling and goofing off. Also, I think shes being overly cautious and is nervous and feels the need to ask permission to even wash her hands because shes never been a guest in someone else's house before. She doesnt know the rules, she doesnt want to overstep her bounds. I used to be that way as an overly-cautious and anxious child. Thankfully I outgrew those fears and anxieties decades ago, but I can relate to how strange it can feel to be in an all new environment and not be totally sure of how you're suppose to act or what's acceptable to do without asking first.

Honestly, I think the only person who *could* potentially get through to Eugenia at this point is Jeffrey - a part of me is hoping he realizes this and can convince her to get help/support her through it. I realize it’s probably not likely, but there it is…

I think I may have an insight to why Eugenia always apologies for things and asks permission to do things. I am a little bit like that as well. It comes from being constantly criticized as a child and teenager. My parents, especially my Mom would frequently make me feel like I was a burden, inconvenience, and wasteful. She was always complaining about me and sometimes I wondered why she chose to have kids at all. I eventually got involved in a lot of self-destructive behavior including EDs and it took a while into my adult years to heal, realize how wrong my parents were, and truly discover my worth and value.

I think it’s very important to have these discussions, I’ve seen some young people on TikTok who are saying stuff like “I might be fat now but when Eugenia isn’t here I’m going to become the new skeleton queen”. I have Eugenia blocked, I don’t consume her content on TikTok because it’s not healthy for me to do so but this is still on my for you page. Imagine the people who are still in the depths of their similar struggles and who actively consume her content. I imagine they’re seeing so many of these videos all the time

I'm just sad. As a 44 year old with an ED I'm sad she can't break free. 😢 She was and still is a good soul just the illness is taking over. It's just effin sad. Anyone who makes a mockery of it needs their own mental health treatment. When she dies i will cry, so much difference should have happened. I hope we as a community can help all the people this will affect, because it will.💜

If I was hanging out with friends and having fun while I am dealing with dark stuff it would be healing for me. I say that because it has happened to me. Having people around makes me feel better.

I agree with you Jordy that these conversations are so valuable. These videos have been integral to my own personal recovery journey. Theres so many face value videos out there that just state the obvious about eugenia over and over, and you genuinely actually looking deeper at this is so meaningful and valuable and I see it inspiring others too and the content about her is slowly getting less shock factor "look at this" and actually is caring and empathetic and educational. Thank you thank you, so much.

Two things: 1) Jeffree knows this is the last from her. I think he now understands how badly she is doing and somewhere he actually has a genuine moment. I appreciate him giving her at least a tiny glimpse of a free life. 2) Jeffree was making fun of pronouns in a podcast a while ago - but here he is refering to Eugenia as they/them for some reason.

When they were talking about the lip balm, Eugenia said that she brought some, but she didn't bring it today. It made me think that maybe she is having to leave at night & stay at a hotel with Deb. I may be totally off base, but it just made me think that maybe Deb isn't so comfortable with Eugenia being out of her sight for that long

I was watching the live last night and Eugenia was beaming. It’s the happiest I have seen her in a long time. I’m very torn about this because when I was at my lowest, even crappy friends provided a great deal of solace. The joy of being able to laugh and get out of a toxic environment is honestly priceless. Unless he got progressively more annoyed as the live went on, Jeffree actually seemed to be more so coaching Eugenia. He replies to her constant apologies with a kind but firm, “You did noting wrong” and laughing when she asks to wash her hands. Let me be frank, I don’t think his intentions are 100% pure and there is some profit motive however Jeffree is treating her like an adult, which never happens. The downside is fake and crappy friends always show their true color. Once Eugenia’s fame fades so will their friendship. Can we please talk about how pretentious these people are? “I’m listening to something you don’t listen to… Beethoven!” and then Jeffree gets triggered and goes on about how unique he is. All these people act like they are in high school.

I really appreciate your content, first of all for me it’s really educational as I’m not a native speaker. I used to live in London for 18 years, but because I had an accident I had to come back to my home country which is Poland. I had few surgeries,I’m also on the medication which messes with my memory so my English is not that fluent anymore. however I feel like I am making a big progress listening to you because you are so well spoken, eloquent and you use sophisticated vocabulary. When it comes to Eugenia and Jeffree situation - he is using her to promote his make up skin care whatever products. I bet he thinks that she needs to live at least till Christmas because he needs a sales boost and make up doesn’t feel that well after pandemic.

When you mentioned the "gray zone", I thought about how both Jeffree and Eugenia thrive off that mildly offputting troll-like behavior, making it their "brand" and making them a pretty good match to use each other for attention. It's still gross of Jeffree to exploit Eugenia but she's also getting to be friends with an idol of hers so that's what probably makes him feel justified in it.

We as a group of people that know Eugenia must know that there is nothing we can do. She can't be helped anymore. She is beyond saving, she has become her illness, she don't just suffer from it: she IS it, we are just looking an empty shell being controlled by this illness, just like parasyte infest a dead insect's body. At this point all we need to do is being happy for her as she seems to really enjoy herself until the very end. Jeffrey may be a controversial figure and we may be wary of his actions, but he has a point: we need to make the best of every single moment, because she might disappear as soon as he turns his head for an instant. We are one click away from a bad news.

Jordy the speech you gave at the beginning of the video was beautiful and humble and moving! THOSE words need to be heard by a lot more of this world! Slightly different problem, but my hubby has severe mental health issues and several years ago it was really bad, I thought I was losing him, and was desperately trying to hold onto hm when a person said 'you can surround the boat with nets, but you can't stop them WANTING to jump in'. Luckily things did improve (strong meds for life but stable and relatively happy now), but I never forgot that description. I didn't like it but it's so true. Any mental illness has similar issues one way or another, nd ultimately it's the least capable person in a relationship that has to find/ask/look for the help. Having depression myself and been a SH- er I spent 7 years literally thinking either this was 'NORMAL' or I was just a freak beyond help, completely ruined my own teen years. Even with meds it's been a lifelong battle. My heart breaks seeing her having this time finally with other people whether he's good or bad, cos it's probably too little too late for her now but she's met her 'idol', and that's got to be such a buzz for her.
