I dont care what anyone says this song deserved to win, i still listen to it and if any country makes me want to keep watching eurovision after all these years its Ukraine that can always impress with their music, language and culture.

For me It's always a big plus when countries perform in their native languages. Brings so much more of a feeling of different countries and cultures coming together to contribute towards an enjoyable togetherness and camaraderie between people of different nations. (plus tbh it's often better when you don't actually know what the lyrics mean as you can enjoy the emotion of the song and make an assumption about the meaning of the lyrics).

They certainly got a lot of points because of the sympathy and the situation in their country, but the truth is that the song could have won without it, it sounds great. The more songs in the native languages of the performers, the better.

this is to me what eurovision is suppose to be about, culture and originality. this song is dope.

The chorus gives me shivers every time. Yes the current situation may have influenced the voting but this song is indeed one of the best songs of Eurovision this year. I appreciate very much the artists who sing in their native language.

Even though it was kinda obvious who would win Eurovision 2022, this was actually one of my favorite entries since it was so different and stood out compared to other countries.

The mashup of modern and traditional music really popped off imo. But maybe its my eastern european brain appreciating it.
