In 2022 we had 34% of the songs in the countries native language, in 2023 we had 32%, and in 2024 we got 43%!!! And it's absolutely beautiful! 👏 Eurovision is going back into a wonderful direction, full of different cultures, diversities and languages, which represents us, Europeans!🥰

@@renemeyer256 Yeah it‘s a great song and so important too. So sad how lame English pop songs were the standard and winning songs for the past 20 years.. It was just a contest of which country sent the best Radio Banger. Native songs barely made it into the finals or barely got points.. (remember Ukraine 2021)

Is it possible that I like literally every song? This never happened to me before, and I've been actively watching ESC since 2004. Since I'm from 🇷🇸 of course I'm cheering up for Teya Dora (and the rest of Balkan babes 🩷), but damn EVERYONE IS JUST SO GOOD! it is a terrible shame that these young men are representing a violent, brutal, corrupt dictatorship, engaged in exactly the same kind of brutal erasure/violence/cleansing in Nagorno-Karabag that is going on in Occupied Ukraine, and Gaza. Nice to hear some countries singing in their original language. Pity that some countries have to sing in English to make a mark. It does not represent them. Either everyone should sing in English, or all in their own languages, which I think is more fun. Just my opinion.

I want to cry with happiness, seeing such a pure concentration of various represented languages, cultures and musical styles this year! Everyone may surely find something to their taste. Good luck to all participants from Ukraine! Though Belgium, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Azerbaijan, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Serbia have already occupied a special spot in my heart, things may still change with the start of rehearsals, so that's exciting.

after listening all 37 songs I can feel this year can be called as huge comeback for eurodance and europop from 90s. Gustav last year started this trend and it keeps going. I don't remember I heard so many familiar sounds in 2024 that once I listened when I was a kid. Plus another trend is alternative rock + a bit emo-ish sound from early 00s for almost all bands this year. And ofc main trend is national languages and some with their traditional instruments! Definitely will be very interesting to watch, since there is just a few traditional eurovision songs, finally :D good luck to Jerry and Alyona, who represents our country this year💙💛

I love everyone’s self expression. Nothing connected with me at all in comparison last few years. This was the weakest year for songs, performances were strong but last few years my mouth dropped at how good many of them were. This year fell flat. Still the artistry is magnificent.

IMO, this is one of the strongest ESC lineups in years. But I want the following in the top ten (in no particular order): Croatia, Netherlands, Estonia, Lithuania, Serbia, Austria, Greece, Switzerland, Italy, and Belgium. With Armenia, Cyprus, the UK, Spain, and Slovenia these would make a great top 15.

It’s Eurovision time again. What a feeling! 😀 Being from Ireland,it’s been difficult to make the grand final in recent years given our great history in the contest. So, after sampling all of these 3 times, and picking the ones I like best, and sampling a longer version of the songs, the best one was Edie Golan. There were several others I will buy, if they’re available, but I’m surprised at many of the higher ranking choices. There were some generic, some, to me, boring, but, I will say-quite a few very talented singers.

So many good songs!!! There are several really outstanding songs such as: Norway, Ireland, Greece, Estonia, San Marino, Croatia, Switzerland, I really hope one of them will win. Also there are some songs with brilliant quality: Serbia, Belgium, Slovenia, Ukraine, Portugal, Lithuania, Czechia, Italy. And some songs that might be not so outstanding, but I really like them such as Uk, Azerbaijan and others.

Интересная песня Тот что победил в конкурсе парень в юбке 😅😅 мне не нравится. Я удивлена что в Европе такое пользуется популярностью ,музыкальный вкус конечно у тех кто это выбрал ужасен
