Next title: even even more Games from the Berlin Candidates Tournament!! We are stuck in a Loop

I would title it something like, "Games from the 2018 Berlin Candidates Tournament You Need to See" followed by the same progression we've had so far. But I have not been consulted in the decision making.

They should call it "odd more Games from the Berlin Candidates Tournament". Well, maybe they shouldn't, come to think of it.

Why didn't Caruana give back the exchange to Karjakin in the last but one game shown? I think the position would be much more playable instead of 1 thousand moves where your pieces can't do nothing to help you.. just a humble opinion

Caruana would recapture with the C pawn and get a passed and probably protected passed pawn in the center, which is arguably worse for black than the dominating bishop

I do not get 25:10. If you just take the Knight with the Rook on D7, than that Pawn cannot promote because the rook can give check on D3 afterwards. What am I missing?

If the rook takes the knight then the pawn is promoted to a queen on e8 WITH CHECK.

Ben, don't you think you're a bit dismissive sometimes about Magnus? You say you like Wesley So; but (1)somebody has to get last place and (2)giving up the Candidates! tourney not even halfway. Sure Magnus doesn't win all classical events anymore(he won Tata Steel again tho). But getting last or giving up halfway won't happen to him. He is still the WC and without contest also the best Rapid, Blitz and Bullet player in the world. Arguably the most gifted chess player ever. I reckon winning superGM tournaments with multiple points lead is something we are gonna see only on special occasions(from anybody) anyway.

Photoshopped cartoon with Kramnick being referenced: facebook.com/chessbrah/photos/a.701685003295980/1211038482360627/?type=1&theater The original cartoon (a dog sitting there instead going 'This is fine.') is just as funny for about the same reason.

Well....here's a tip : Wanna see exciting games from all the players?? Add this rule : A draw counts as a loss for both players!!!!11!1!!!!!1!1!1!1!1!!!!!1!1111111111111111111111
@dalesmith7310

That’s too harsh make it -½ each for a draw. Better yet. After at least 30 moves players can each agree to take one of their own pieces off the board and continue the game in lieu of a draw. After 60 moves and every 30 moves hence they can repeat.

Nh5 is more cute because you put your knight on the edge of the board i think
