Sir, I have a doubt, in your 2 port network analysis, we saw Γ(L)=V2+/V2-. but here at 15:21 we are using Γ=V-/V+ (quoting as Γ is at load side reflection co-eff). The ratio is inverse here compared to the two port network. I think it's Γ→Γ (out) on load side. Could you kindly clarify on this. Thanks in advance, Sir.

for the odd mode analysis why is zin looking into the port infinity and not infinity in parallel with the resistor shorted to ground?

Sir, why is Zin(e) equal to z^2/2. How did that formula came. is Zin(e) not equal to (z+2)?
@RFDesignbasics3 жыл бұрын
Watch it carefully. It's clearly explained in the video.

No sure what you are doing with you matching equation. usually the middle impedance is the root of the two outside impedances but you make the root have something to do with the input impedance.

Why at minute 6.34 the two parallel 1 does occurring in 2 and not 0.5... What am I missing
@RFDesignbasics Жыл бұрын
Actually 1 is divided in two parallel parts for making an equivalent circuit to apply odd and even modes.

@@RFDesignbasics oh OK so 2ohms parallel equals 1 Thanks for clarifying
