It's been a long while since I've posted a video so here's a bit of a catch up on life in general and quick ride through my local trails.

Wow, you’re story mirrors mine so closely. My ex and I split after 18 years together. We also split as good as can be expected, but the untanglement process is time consuming and heart breaking. Then I found out she started seeing one of my best friends. 🤬 Living on my own now. Bought my NC750X in April and loving it. Planning some camping with it riding roads similar to the ones in this video. Good luck. And thanks for sharing.

Hey man... the whole best friend thing is rough - seriously. Hope things go OK for you. I'm actually off doing some camping in the middle of nowhere on my own this weekend all being well. Got everything warm packed LOL. Have a good one and ride safe out there.

Now that you've told everyone regarding the AT at Western Motorcycles, you better get there quick before the rush. Sounds like the bike for you. I've been enjoying your vids for quite a while now and you're certainly quicker on dirt than when you started. David, I always find it sad when a couple split so wish you well for the future.

Thanks for checking in mate . I follow you and BBA, Cap Cranky and NC750X. I am still working so don't get out on my NC as much lately . I really look forward to your videos. Thank god for BBA though as he seems able to ride for all of us. I plan on keeping my NC for awhile but the f900 and 900 XR and of course the GS 1250 are in my dreams at the moment.

I KNOW that road that isn't a road at the beginning! 😂 Glad to hear the family stuff has gone smoothly for you mate. I can tell you when it doesn't it's a right nightmare! Ha ha - yes wet concrete crossings... let's not go there 😂 That was great! I totally re-lived my ride through there.

Nice day that was! Sorry to hear 👂 about the “whanau” situation. That’s Maori for family, although it has a lot more meaning due to the connotations. I’m an immigrant myself to Kiwi 🥝 land. Happy for you that it’s amicable and you guys worked it out especially for your kids so they don’t miss out on the good/ important stuff in life. Nice 👍🏽 details little things, like ‘shinko’ tyres etc

Your bike looks good with the side cases. It’s funny that we, motorcyclists, seem to be continuously lurking at other bikes. You at the Africa Twin, me at yours, even though my Kawasaki GTR/Concours 14 is formidable. Incidentally, the season up here in Montreal is just about to debut as temperatures are rising to the 4 or 5 degree mark and the snow is melting real quick. Thanks for the ride.

Puts visor down "So you can hear me a bit better" - voice becomes more muffled. Too funny. Thanks for your updates anyway. Glad you can get some bike therapy with all of your life and the world events of late.

Wowza, what kind of exhaust is on your bike?
@SvenTSchixe4 жыл бұрын
I think it is the IXIL exhaust. Not positive though.

I suspect that Center of Gravity (CG) on NC700X and NC750X is significantly lower than Africa Twin.

What tires do you drive?
@returnrider49524 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, Shinko e705. They've been really great both on road and the dirt/gravel. Cheers

@@returnrider4952 in the mud did you test?
@returnrider49524 жыл бұрын
@@onlinemaster Not in real deep terrible mud but on wet dirt and gravel roads they are fine. Slippery clay is a problem but that stuff isn't good for any tyres. If it's really, really wet I stay off the dirt until it dries out a bit, or... just slow down a lot LOL.

Mate I use a GoPro Hero 4 with a mount on the side of my helmet. I run a microphone with adapter for the GoPro into the cheek pad of my helmet. I also have other camera's mounted on the bike but didn't use them this time. Cheers.
