An angle of fairy moves I haven't seen explored yet would be animism - the spiritual praxis of all things, creatures, and places having an innate "spirit." It's a big part of Shinto and thus very ingrained in Japanese culture, and it shows up in Pokémon all the time. It used to be limited to Ghost types, as the "spirits" of items became malicious. But fairy type has allowed Gamefreak to explore animism in it's less corrupted form, where things are functioning as intended. Geomancy and other flower based moves are an example of this (as is the Floette line in general) as you aren't channeling the physical nature itself but the "spirit" of nature or the "spirit" of the land, which can then be used to heal and nurture creatures and plant life. Nature's Madness is the very spirit of the land being used to attack you, and Moonblast is channeling the spirit of the moon. Floette isn't a flower but the "spirit" of a flower, the nymph or nature spirit that exists within every plant, just as a spirit is within every living thing. The Tapus are all kami, powerful nature spirits and embodiments of the land itself, which is why they all affect the terrain and why they all use Nature's Madness and Guardian of Alola, as the islands themselves are part of the fight. I know it sounds similar to the "nature magic" stuff but the distinction of the nature having a will and a life of its own, and of various little embodiments of each little thing having a will and taking action, are all important aspects of animism that fuel the design direction of fairy types. Also, no one wants to say it, but "the fair folk" are described as being unnaturally beautiful and seductive, which is why moves like charm, baby-doll eyes, and sweet kiss are all fairy type now. "Cute" is just the child-friendly, non-bestiality version of sexy. Which is a direction I'm glad Gamefreak went, cause unlike some folks on the internet I don't need sexy Pokémon in my life.

Something I really think should've been expounded upon was the nature of Nature's Madness/Guardian of Alola. Though they are powerful moves, they never KO the opponent, showing that as the Tapus are guardian spirits, they are merciful in nature

I just wanted to inform you in case you were unaware that the Suffix "mancy" like Geomancy doesn't actually mean magic despite how it's used in modern media. Originally it meant divination of the past or future through the use of whatever the prefix refers to so Geomancy is divination using the Earth and Necromancy if divination using the deceased. It even occurs in the bible in 1st Samuel 28 : 7 -19. I loved the video and just thought you might be interested.

Play Rough (Frolic) and Let's Play Forever are actually super relevant to the fairy type. See, having a fairy really like you could be as bad or worse than it disliking you, that it wanted to play with a person. Because a fairy would spirit away that person, and chances are that what would start out as fun games will become torturous, from the fairy not understanding the pain of being forced to dance for hours without rest, and treat its playfriemd as a plaything to use how it wants. A fairy simply doesn't understand. This is how I like to portray even the happiest and most light Fey in D&D, they are things of emotions and extremes. You might enjoy a bit of a party with Titania, but things may change when she starts to take offense to you getting tired and grumpy from a party going past a whole day, her thinking that you are ruining the mood. And why the opposing dark branch of fairies (Unseelie) might not be all bad, from being more empathetic to sad emotions.

Cool Fact: in spanish the move Play Rough was translated as "Carantoña" that is a spanish word from Galicia that is used to talk about a sickish but more like "sickly sweet" xD way of caressing someone, like to sweet it hurts to see, though many people use that word simply as a synonym of caress

Though Fairy Types are being seen as users of light magic. That to me does doesn't discredit light as a type being similar to light in nature and not as magic as described here. Also i see dragon and fairy type as both magic type only diff is on is chaotic and unnatural and the other is pure and thus comes from nature itself i.e natural magic.

New Fairy-type move: Still Silence. You know how in stories, there is a situation, where the protagonist or whatever enters a special area where a guardian spirit or mystical being is just sitting there? You feel very off put by this, but you go towards it, for though it puts you in an unsettled state, it also is very inviting. So you sit there as well, letting everything happen in front of you and seeing the magical display the Being adds to it. So like so, when used no one can move for 3 turns only the effects of the terrain will take place, while also adding new flair to Pokémon based on their type and the weather/ battlefield effects.

Geomancy is essentially a Spirit Bomb from Dragon Ball which Xerneas absorbs instead of unleashing as an attack. A Fairy attack that's literally just Spirit Bomb could work. It would be a charging attack like Solar Beam or Sky Attack.
