FYI, the reason Nick Cannon always says “I knew it!” is because he is always told who it is ahead of time because someone has to know who they are. Can you imagine if they took their mask off and Nick said, “please tell the audience who the hell you are because I’ve never seen your face before.”

QBee240 I read on reddit (so take it with a grain of salt) that they make the live studio audience leave for the reveals and the reactions are pre-filmed. They don’t even know who it is they’re just told to act surprised. It does make sense they would do this over risking having a full studio audience potentially leaking who contestants are though!

@@AnniePhantastic or for the safety of the guests it makes sense. imagine being in the same room as a celebrity you know and crowding the van transporting them. nightmare for the singers. usually they do stuff like free show for audience sign ups or even pay for them to sit and do background for the show

That’s not how these shows work. It happened the way it was meant to. The purpose was for Chris and Wayne to have their names back in the spotlight. Wayne has been in the business for a very long time. He is a multi-talented guy...he was going to win regardless. He just needed exposure again to the young audience. Chris is very talented and people have renewed interest in him again. They both won.

Fox deserved the win, NO doubt, but I do agree, rotty was consistently better in the vocals. Close match tho

Joshua Clark His last performance was also more talking than singing. Sorry but “Alive” showcases a wide range of notes. The audience was made up of zoomers who couldn’t tell the difference between talent levels.

When Dr. Dre was unmasked he was very adorable. Sherri and Kelly were fun, Michelle and Adrienne were awesome. Daughtry and Wayne were both amazingly good, too. And let's not forget about Raven and Patti, both should have been in the finals.

They did a better job of hiding their voices this year. Last year I got a bunch of them from their accents in their interview like Bradshaw, T Pain, and Tommy Chong. I didn't get any of those this year.

Yep and a lot of them we were able to rule out because they gave us their height in season 1 which they stopped doing in season 2. Next season they are supposedly stop letting the real contestants talk themselves because someone was adjusting the pitch and speed to get around the disguised voices. So they're goint to have one of their family or friends do a voiceover, which also will be disguised to make it harder.

So true. Last yea was hidden properly and this yr, we the viewers knew right out the jump. So voices couldn't be hidden E.g. Michelle Williams, Patti Labelle, Adrianne, Wayne etc.
