I just got to St. Vincent the other day thanks to respawn, the entire grind was fantastic and Duncan is by far the most pleasant tier 9 grind I've ever done.

A great resource, thanks Slai/Grandad - I'd love to see more of this format on other lines!! I've just unlocked Rooke and picked up the camos in the shipyard. I'm looking forward to taking her out. I've got Tovey (currently level 7) on the line, Nelson is on my Monarch (although I mainly use him on HMS Nelson TBH) at level 12 - I have enough XP to change him out for free - would you recommend that or should I grind Tovey up for the sweet ACPS+?

Grandad here! Definitely spec Nelson for HMS St. Vincent, because his skillset works incredibly well with that ship. Use Tovey for the lower tiers. He's a great commander, but Nelson's synergy with the superheal is too strong to pass up at T10.

I have the St. Vincent, and I can tell it's a fun ship.(90 games with 58.89% wr) However, it's not easy to play due to the lack of armor, but the guns are worth it. I feel it just needs a little buff for fire and flood resistance, as well as a bit more armor. Destroyers with nice guns like the Gearing will be a nightmare for you if you can't kill them fast. I would give it an 8.5/10. Any aircraft carrier and the Cristoforo Colombo (SAP feels like true damage for this line) will be your worst matchup. (Edit. So, was the excessive dmg this ship takes from fires and floods a bug....xd)

I disagree with Hawke. I feel as if Hawke is an excellent ship. One of the best T8 BB’s in game, premiums included. That’s just my opinion and take though. I agree with Renown, one of the highlights of the line as well. My second favorite ship sans Hawke so far. I’m only at Duncan though so Vincent isn’t being factored.

I have majesty grace camo, and no I’m sticking with the historical version I have I don’t want my ship to have a goddamn unicorn at the bow

Hello, Grandad here! I kept my Renown, even though I already have Repulse. Repulse is definitely a *better* ship, but Renown's superior concealment and access to torpedoes make her unique. Think of it as a different "flavour" of a familiar playstyle.
