A couple of good rules: 1. If it has more than 5 or 6 ingredients, put it back. 2. Aim for 0g of added sugar AND no artificial sweeteners...that includes stevia and monk fruit. 3. If you don't recognize an ingredient (ie, its not real food), then don't eat it! Helped to reverse my IBD and I am now a ripped 155 lbs 42 year old.

You want the truth? Or a lie? Cellulite is from eating sugar and seed oils. You know the crap in processed foods like protien bars. Want to get rid of it? Eat strictly carnivore and do bodyweight squats every other day. 3 to 5 sets of 20.. Ive trained hundreds of women like this. It will dissapear. Guarantee it. But hell what do I know? Pretty boy twill probably tell you to eat mayonaise. ...as he sells you a supplement.

@@MA-qm4dj its really left over lenoleic acid buildup from eating fried foods along with too much chicken and pork.. At least thats what I believe. Its from eating seed oils, salad dressings and rancid olive oils. Which in turn causes hormonal changes. At your age you could be low on testosterone. Even women need a little. Thats why carnivore... mostly beef and squatting exercise helps. Ot raises testosterone levels slightly. Just enough usually. Lunges if you can do them, help also. Engaging your largest muscle group and eating CARNIVORE really works. Add very little chicken or pork to your eating, as they are full of lenoleic acids from being misfed grains. Add lots of OMEGA 3 EGG. I suggest Happy Eggs if you can find them. Thet are fantastic. If you do 90 days you will are a big change usually. You may see some small changes in a couple of weeks I highly suggest low carb, then keto first as going straiggt CARNIVORE is tough. Ease into it after a couple of weeks of keto. Hope that helps. This will be fun...just finished a fast. Larabar seems very good. As a trail runner...I like Owyn Bar w 10 grams of protein. REDD and Larabar may look for and TRY.

Allulose... I bought some and went a little crazy. I saw you can make caramel with it. I used 3 tablespoons and some grass feed butter, made caramel, and put it on some macadamia nuts I had freshly roasted. The crazy part was that I ate ALL of it. It was extremely delicious! But I woke up the next morning feeling like I've never, EVER felt before. Extremely foggy headed and totally out of sorts. I had to skip work and stay in bed the whole day. I felt awful! The 2nd day I was still feeling the effects, but not nearly as bad. I know I overdid it. It was the most sweetener I had consumed in one sitting since I had started keto 2 1/2 months previously. But the effects were soooo drastic I have not been able to bring myself to use Allulose for anything again. To be fair, I don't know whether it was the Allulose, the fact that it was new to me, that I ate too much sweetener at one time , or what. I'm a little over 4 months on Keto now... plateauing at 32lb weight loss currently.

When you said "Is it wrong not to?", regarding observing people/hikers selecting the worst bars...I had to laugh - cos that's a common scenario and troubled conscience type dilemma I'm often finding myself in😅 Nice one for that Thomas! I've got ONE QUESTION for you Thomas , and I bet you've had it before...Re' Chia seeds , isn't EXCESS ESTROGEN a issue with Chia ? Maybe Flax too? Amazing that there's over 1000 types of protein bars! Just great succinct information regarding all these 'tricky' ingredients 👍👍👍

This video should have way more views. The detail is unmatched. I’m always so confused when I look at the snack bar section. So Whole Foods does carry it maybe not at all the Whole Foods stores but my local one does in Torrance California does. I’ve been to the store and bought them. I tried the double chocolate collagen bulletproof bar and IMO dirt might be more tasty. It was dry and not much flavor. Gave them away to someone with no taste.

You're doing good Thomas, it's better not to say anything to people picking up wrong bars, you don't know who you are advising. People can be strange when it comes to food choices. I get the same when people buy a bunch of regular sodas with high fructose corn syrup or buy hydrogenated snacks. I tell some friends but no results. So I stopped saying anything. 🙃

my question is about protein not protein bars. we need to increase protein for building muscle mass. im seeing that only 20- 25 grams of protein can be absorbed per sitting the rest is excreted in your urine. if you have to wait 2 hours, you would be eating all day every 2 hours to get your required protein to build muscle.so could you tell me how someone that does intermittent fasting could get the required protein to build muscle on a day that they fast 20 hours. thanks

How can you have organic honey? Bees fly around and pick up pollen from this plant or that plant. They don't single out only plants that bee keeper designates organic friendly.

29:25 Just because it's JUST an emulsifier doesn't mean it isn't bad. I learned on the Huberman Lab Podcast that emulsifiers can lead to inflammation, weight gain, and mess with the hormones that regulate hunger.

Peanut butter is not a singular ingredient. Peanut butter usually is made with soybean oil and always made with sugar. So if it contains "peanut butter" it should also give those ingredients as well.

Can u review Munk Pack Keto granola bars??? found these at my walmart and OMG THEYRE SO yum, chewy, reminds me of those horrible delicious Quaker Chewy bars i wont eat anymore. Tested my bloodsugar after trying one and it wasn't too bad for me... I'm curious your thoughts??

This is strange, I have a reaction to the Love Good Fats bar where it feels like a sugar crash - 15 minutes after eating one I'm laying on the couch hardly able to keep my eyelids open. I have no such reaction to a KIND bar - but not the one you showed here - they have a few labeled as "5g sugar" and those are the ones I've tried.

I’m on carnivore diet so Will drinking 1 coffee a day on normal full cream milk be detrimental to my healing or will it only prolong it?

The erythertol makes me bloated, even products like Bai drinks are a no go for me. I've tried the Think! bars and no bloating but I agree with the soy protein and what you didnt get to, the oils used are a no.
