Great to the point video - thank you Thomas. Could you also do a Costco haul for Carbs and Healthy Fats?
@stealth07r1

Thomas, can I ask you why you seem to be emphasizing the mono and poly unsaturated fats over the saturated fats in the meat products? My understanding of healthy dietary fat IS clean animal saturated fats. For contrast eggs, as we all know, just about the perfect food, are very high in saturated fat but you didn't mention that in the egg discussion'. Not trying to complain or trap you...I'm really interested to understand. Thank you for wonderful video...I've been thinking about wading back into the craziness of COSTCO shopping to start buying more bulk for high quality red meat and hamburger. This vid convinces me to go back in. Ironically you skipped the red meat zone completely. : /

This channel really is top tier in a super saturated youtube space. Really love how you break everything down and are realistic about diets. Tired of the channels where we have guys eating a absurdly amount of oatmeal, 3 eggs, and a half a bottle of egg whites for breakfast and then just plain chicken and broccoli for all other meals. This is a channel where people can actually translate it to their actual lives. Keep it up man you are awesome.

Great video! I always struggle with this kind of stuff and mixing up protein intake. Learned a lot on what to look for on the labels. My only comment is on the Greek yogurt. Fage was 10 calories less for 3/4 cup vs the other one for 2/3 cup. But then again the other brand for 3/4 cup would be higher in protein.

I love collagen with an instant coffee with cream, it mixes with the cream and makes it ultra thick, it's very good in the texture for me, I completely recommend it, I buy a 100% collagen, so, no added flavor, but collagen itself has a flavor, so it is ok with the coffee because that is a stronger flavor.

When you trim out all the empty processed foods and carbs, there isn't much food bulk left.. It's like they developed modern foods to look big, taste nice, and also give you an inverted food pyramid! It is almost like we eat until we get enough protein, and protein poor foods make us eat more. It feels like we are eating, but its junk.

I eat a lot of those Kirkland protein bars, I like them a lot. Especially if you keep them in the fridge.

As a black man from here in Louisiana, who was born in the 70's, I must say that I'd like to point out to all of yall that based on the VA's hospital lab ranges, "if" your blood sugar is lower than 70, you're "not" eating enough carbs, "if" your blood sugar is higher than 110, in an intermittent fasted state, you're eatin' too many carbs.

I wish my Costco was that empty!!!! Must be nice not having a bunch of people all around you and in your way! My Costco is like going to the mall during Christmas season 😠

Kiolbassa organic smoked beef sausage, 100% grass fed/finished. One sausage is 300-calories, so I don't think that is outrageous for the quality of the meat. Cheaper at Costco in Carson City, Nevada, $13.99 per package.

Bacon bits also a great deal at costco. Once you cook bacon down you lose tons of the fat, making it a crazy price pound for pound. 20 oz for less than ten bucks is an amazing deal.

I bought a bag the other day. I keep it in my freezer and grab a handful as needed. I realized the cost saving and ease of use this product provides. I also had no self control and used to cook and eat a whole pound of bacon in one day if it was around. Not tempted to eat the bacon bits that way.

@@jodybogdanovich4333 I do half romaine lettuce, half bacon and put some sour cream ranch on there. Amazing, and healthy too.

Vital Protein collagen is on sale this month!! I had that Kevin's teriyaki chicken for dinner tonight. So good. At a Cistco Business I found the chicken brand that does the skewers that was a 2 pack but not with skewers. Better price and the chicken was better

can you link the video where you talk about the premier protein drink? I was thinking of getting that to mix with my coffee, I have seen others use it and it looks good- interested to learn more!
