I rewatched this again, because I love seeing the X-Men omnibuses! I know that I am missing some, and YES some of those are available at discounted online sellers. Great video. I had to pause a third in because I am just reading issue 153 from an Epic Collection... is there an Omni that delves into the stories in between 66 and GSX1? The Epic line has a book that does this so well, covering the Beast turning blue, Wolverine's first appearance in Hulk, etc. Not required reading, but it really bridges the book from cancelation to rebirth and would be awesome if an Omni collected it.

Where were some of the other like Fatal Attractions, Phalanx Covenant, wedding of Cyclops and Phoenix, Shattershot, Eve of Destruction, etc? Are those all considered OHC as opposed to Omnibus?

Are the x force, x factor, and new mutants stories included in these, or they separate omnibuses.

Several of these Omnis contain issues from those titles. If you want to dive deeper into those titles they also have Omnibus.

If you have basic knowledge of the X-Men it shouldn’t really matter tbh but ideally yeah you should start from Uncanny.

MAn, I want to read the whole saga but don't hae the space for them all. Even just the claremont era is like 13 omni's. Never had heard of the Grand Design Omni. Thinking about starting there and then getting the omnis between there and AoA. Think that'd be a solid read and collection?

Yeah Grand Design is a solid read! The thing with X-Men is if ya have the basic knowledge even from the animated series you can kinda pick it up at any point and be good.

@drocksteadyreviews I saw your reading order, my question is what do you think about switching around, like go for AOA after UXM 1 & 2, or Mutant massacre after 3 & 4 (as I am worrying about boring for the same storyline, haha) Do you see any conflict about it? Or I will miss something if I am not following the order you provide?

@@MentalMa3ter Ohh gotcha! To be completely honest if you have basic knowledge of X-Men it doesn’t matter if you jump around. That’s with anything for the most part when it comes to Marvel or DC superhero titles. I wouldn’t with an indie title. Like picking up SIKTC now wouldn’t be ideal.

Uncanny x-men picks up after volume 4… Vol 5 ends with #209 and then picks up with #210 in Mutant Massacre. New Mutants i honestly forget I think it’s before UXM vol4
