This is my first time seeing this, and for the longest time I’ve explained to people how I got through 13 years of schooling. “Monkey see, monkey do.” I saw what they wrote on the board and just imitated the work based off what I saw them do. If there was further understanding, then I’d have to pay close attention or ask questions. I’m one of the monkeys on this monkey ship🙈

The people getting defensive and saying they're "not monkeys" are the monkiest of all. Aw, you poor thing, relax your tiny brain.

It's true that unfortunately more and more people are listening most of the time to instincts therefore are behaving like monkeys, but there are still some left that are evolved enough to behave like Humans.

i have problem with this in the idea that [insert feeling]"should" anything. how do you actually quantify how much someone "should" feel about anything? Like ever? Is there a scale for , ok so Karen scratched your car, you should be this angry. Do the circumstances surrounding the interaction not matter? maybe its a brand new car? perhaps the car is a rental? Perhaps a gift, perhaps not your? Perhaps Karen slept with your so and then scratch your car.I am going to have to watch the whole piece to get the full context but I don't believe people are completely governed by their own desires and feelings. Some of us look at things more logically and can compartmentalize our feelings.

I mean I do feel like TED talk quality isnt as well guarded as it should be, but this but from this short you can still see that this woman still has some valueable insight on selfimproment and how we live. Saying it that way sounds very boring / dense, which is why this woman found a much more digestible way to get it across. I hope you see that

I agree with this. Poor content and delivery, even for a TEDx talk. It seems like amateur comedy at a bar.
