As Above So Below is such an underrated/underseen horror movie. I love it. I think it had the misfortune of being released at the time when people were really getting burned out on found footage style horror movies. By the time this movie was released the fifth Paranormal Activity movie had already come out earlier in the year. So AASB was easy to write off as yet another horror movie following the big horror trend of the time. Based on all the YT videos I see covering it I'm glad it's found a cult following. More people should check it out, especially if they are familiar with Dante's Inferno. I also recommend reading the script. It's not drastically different from the final film, but there are a few details that didn't make it into the movie. They definitely cut or condensed a few things presumably for budget/time that would have addressed some of the film's shortcomings.

Absolutely loved As Above So Below! Definitely one of my favorites and I've seen it many times over the years, it's always good for a rewatch when I can't find anything new that's good to watch.

I just watched Immaculate this weekend and..........just wow. I came looking on your page to see if you had done a review because I wanted to see if anyone else was as blown away by that one. I had never seen anything about it really either up until it came out, so it intrigued me in that. The ending.......didn't see that one coming at all.

Some good watches there. The 70s rule for movies, what a time to be alive. You should definitely check out the sequel to Creep, the taking of Deborah logan is a good found footage film 👍 Keep going with the x files, Home is in Season 4, what an episode.

Great list! But I strongly, STRONGLY recommend avoiding "An American Werewolf in Paris." It came out near the end of the '90s and used tacky CGI effects for the werewolf parts, and if it had humor in it it didn't land for me or I've forgotten it. I watched it probably in the early '00s and I remember being really mad about it. I think for something closer to a '90s version of American Werewolf in London, a way better choice would be Ginger Snaps which is amazing.

First off, I love that you and your mini seem to share a love of films, that is so sweet! Second, this gave me several new things to put on my to watch list. I haven't watched StarTrek TNG since I was a teen, so I'll definitely be giving it a rewatch. My kids also LOVED Luca, they watched it over and over last year. I love these watch wrap ups, it's made me want to keep track of what I watch and not just what I read.
