This is my theory. Ashens is insane. He talks to imaginary people, he burns things, he does "questionable" things, he plays with toys, he talks to himself... AND THAT'S WHY WE LOVE HIM!

I like to pretend that the "other person in the room" that Ashens is talking to is in fact not even there, similar to Garfield Minus Garfield. Well I don't like to because it's depressing as hell, but it's a neat way of looking at it.

If I am not mistaken (which is very likely) he has explained that when he makes a mistake and wants to redo it, he pauses and goes through his thoughts and redo the last few words. Then edit that out. - In another video (don't remember which), he starts off reading the French ingredients, before realising the English is printed below, and he quickly moves on to read it in English. But in the outtake at the end, he sneezed when reading the French. He's very skillful at editing it out. - Which video is that chocolate clip from? Did he ever release it? If so, we can see the final result.

If you watch some of his previous outtake clips, it's pretty clear he doesn't word-for-word script his episodes. He has a list of things he wants to cover, and then he ad-libs the actual content.

Hm, the buttons/Pads one the left and right are identical to those found on one of the POP-Stations from the Cool Eyed King review he did a few months ago, whereas the 3d-mirror-screen-thingy is the same as the one from the 3d Color Games. Maybe it's some sort of weird cross between the two.

When I was making video game reviews (I don't bother any more, it's a lot of work, and so many other people do them so much better) it's hard to do it in one continuous take everytime without making mistakes, Even with a script in front of you and just recording a voice over, you still end up getting tongue tied, and losing your thread. Even people that a really good at it, have to edit sometimes. I bet almost all the big you tubers who consistently, not having to edit is def more impressive.

Well yes, he is, he doesn't read from a script (in his normal videos anyway), he does improv! But he still has to try again if he messes up his words too badly... or if his improv goes in a bizarre direction, as seen in the outtake at the end of his Apple Newton video!
