Imagine if we find out at the end of the movie, that Harleen was just a Doctor at the hospital who Joker was fantasizing about the whole time. All the musical scenes, the escape & all of the events of the film were just another delusion, like Sophie in the first film.

I have a feeling that the superior court scene will be the finale, where Arthur/Joker is being prosecuted by DA Harvey Dent. Harley Quinn and the Joker followers smuggle a bomb into the courthouse, which allows Joker to escape during the chaos and scarring half of Harvey’s face.

I think this is going to be like Chicago’s film adaptation in the way the musical numbers will take place inside the character’s mind, not where characters burst into song during the story like in traditional musicals.

Now I’m not a musicals kind of guy, but I absolutely understand how they’re going to use it. I think it’ll be musical pieces set in his/their minds. It’s only logical to do it that way. That being said, I’m extremely excited for this film! Such a huuuuge fan of Joker/DC. Characters are much darker and complex than many Marvel characters. Just my opinion at least 🤷🏻‍♂️

i feel like people way to hung up the musical aspect coz they think it will by something silly like HM movies forget tht there are some grim musicals out there like sweeney todd or rocky horror etc.

I am convinced that Arthur is imagining Harley on the stairs. That would explain why the police is not even aknowledging her presence. There is a take where she starts smoking after Arthur has been captured. Assuming they won't follow the exact story from the comics, I wonder if she could be actually dead by that point and Arthur has been imagining a more deranged version of her, more in line with his Joker.

Arthur never spent time w/Sophie. What motivation would Harley have to kill Sophie? Only in Arthur’s delusions is he w/Sophie.

@@bobbylee_ Well it seems the whole point of the movie is that Arthur and Harley “share” a delusion (hence, “Folie a Deux”). Doesn’t matter that none of it is real, Arthur thinks it was and (most likely) so will Harley by extension. Why else bring Zazie Beats back? Why else have her interact with Harley (we know from the actress’ own words she worked with Lady Gaga)? It’s as reasonable a guess as any given all available info.

@@grogu-the-mandalorian I’m fully aware of Arthur’s delusions. Given what we’ve seen from Arthur Fleck in Joker, he kills those who’ve done wrong by him. Whether in reality or in Fleck’s delusions, Sophie doesn’t fit into that pattern. With Harley sharing in Fleck’s delusions it doesn’t follow that Harley would kill Sophie because Fleck wouldn’t. They could be bringing back Sophie for a number of reasons; the trial, more of Flecks delusions or flashbacks from the first film.

So Arthur thinks that Zazy Beats is his girlfriend, so what if he tells his phycologist, Harley about her, but Harley is falling for Arthur and kills Beats so she can have Arthur. Then breaks Arthur out of the court room while he's being cross examined by Dent, scaring the side of his face in the process. Yet Arthur has enough of a point as to why he did it and his world view that Dent is of two minds on what to do with Arthur. Then after the court house bombing Harley is placed in Arkham herself. As we see with the newspaper.

People need to keep an open mind. I'm not a musical fan but I loved Sweeney Todd. That's a very dark movie with dark music. And I think it's awesome. Joker can be the same.

Extremely excited for Joker Folie A Deux. It could be possible that Harley fell in love with Arthur during her early days of rehabilitation and was later deemed sane enough to be let back into society. As time passes, Harley has regained her sanity, no longer suffers from her past delusions, and has stopped being in love with Arthur/Joker now that she realizes their "relationship" was another result of both their poor mental health. She later wants to help Arthur with his trial due to remembering him from Arkham, but Arthur deludes her help as an act of romance, believing they are still lovers??

He will likely be prosecuting Arthur for the crimes committed in the first movie as I get into in the video. Probably an Easter egg of Two Face with the explosion/Arthur's escape, but nothing more than that as its not really relevant.

What if Harley is a doctor at the asylum and she gets admitted for having ap e affaire with the joker and then when he goes to trial the clown mob blow up the courthouse to help him escape but at that same time Harley sets the asylum on fire to escape, then she tries to find him at his apartment but he's not there and then she goes through her own Joker moment and they run into eachother on the stairs

Everything We Know About JOKER 2: It doesn't look like the characters its overrated inaccurate and a terrible fan film that also has nothing to do with the character joker while Harley Quinn is in name only that looks like a homeless meth addict. This whole franchise is catwoman (2005) 2.0
