But these games were made in the 2000s when internet was taking off. B. They have that design to them and it was definitely intended.

Kaleb the Bonk Boy that may be true but. like. he doesn't deserve a heel face turn. sir raleigh is a rich pampered greedy piece of crap who happens to be a good engineer, but didn't actively outright murder anybody, he just disabled lighthouses to keep police out. doesn't really deserve a hft but doesn't not deserve one (and if they make penelope evil why wouldn't they make raleigh good). muggshot was a runt of the litter and an easy victim for bullies who got sick and tired of being treated as lesser because he was small so he worked out and built an empire with a casino, and had lots of security to keep himself from being robbed. he then leaves the gambling business to enter dogfighting competitions because haha get it dogfighting because he's a dog. he is the least outright evil of the fiendish five, and i believe he deserved an hft more than any of the others. mz ruby was a necromancer and people were afraid of her because she was different. through forced social isolation she lost touch with social mores and slipped further and further down a path of evil instead of one of basic necromancery. eventually she just made too many asshole decisions that she became irredeemably bad and incapable of saving, clinging only to a loyalty to the capacity for fair fights, and long droning unskippable cutscenes directly from hell itself. pulled a mithos yggdrasil (or an anakin skywalker, for the non-jrpg crowd) in that there was a point in time where she could definitely have been saved but unfortunately by the time the game occurs it's too late. she wouldn't let herself have an hft. clockwerk is evil. definitely doesn't deserve an hft. i mean, he did die most certainly for real this time... like three times. panda king wanted to impress the emperor with his craft, but was laughed out. so, like any sane, rational artist, he blew them the fuck up. then continued to kill people. after losing a fist fight he remembered 'oh crap i have a daughter' and stopped killing people. after he got out of jail. then jing got kidnapped and he became a good guy. for some reason. even though he's a mass murderer- which apparently got a year at best with interpol- and obviously mentally unstable if his first instinctive reaction to criticism is vengeance via explosions. i just don't like the fact that of all the first game's antagonists to join sly's gang it was fucking panda king. that'd be like azula joining team avatar instead of zuko. actually, azula and zuko pretty much exactly fit panda king and muggshot to the letter...

better yet how do you retrieve the parts that are submerged in lava? yeah no those clockwork parts would have to be remade, not to mention sly left inspector fox handcuffed so no one could if gotten them shortly after being destroyed, and if they were still intact then how is it that 2 shock pistol shot and 2 missile barrages make the head weak enough for slys cane to tear through it like tin foil. this is leaving me confused on how the museum got the clockwork parts, if someone could clarify that for me that'd be great

SHADOMEGA7569 I can partially explain. In Sly 2 we learn that the Hate Chip is what stops the parts from being completely destroyed. When Clock-La was defeated that the Clockwerk parts while extremely damaged were still just laying there. Carmelita arrives late and takes her anger out on the Hate Chip and smashes. When she does that time/age finally catches up to the once immortal parts and they disintegrate into nothing. That explains why they weren’t destroyed in the first game. That being said we still don’t know how, why and who retrieved from the volcano and put them into the museum. They also should have still been damaged since 1. We don’t know if Clockwerk has autor repair in built or can regenerate and 2. Clockwerk is essence/soul is dead and parts inactive so he can’t repair himself. But museum preserve and restore artefacts so the only logical explanation even Clockwerk can repair himself but is inactive is that the museum when they retrieved him, put into restoration where he got repaired and then put on display. Basically Clockwerk is immortal and the first 2 games mention that. But it’s game 2 that we find that even the soul of Clockwerk and Clock-La are destroyed the parts remain unless you destroy the Hate Chip. Clockwerk can survive in lava as we see Clockwerk falling into and flying out of the lava multiple times with no damage from the lava he does in the volcano, he’s extremely intelligent and wouldn’t live in such highly dangerous especially since lava can destroy metal very easily; if he didn’t know he could survive there. So the Clockwerk can survive the lava and they sink in it but rather float on the top (weird considering metal sinks). The only real problem is the Hate Chip itself because the Clockwerks while floating in the lava and not receiving damage from the is fine except that the parts are damaged especially Clockwerk’s and like water the lava would seep into the head where the Hate Chip is. Now if the lava cane into contact with the Hate Chip then parts would be destroyed because if Carmelita simply stomping on the Hate Chip can destroy it then lava definitely can. The only way the lava didn’t reach the Hate Chip inside his head was if the Hate Chip was inside a part of the head wasn’t damaged and broken cavities in that section which is most likely the case......Sorry for the long response but I hope this answers your question.
