Personally for me, those characters were a pain in the butt to play as when I got to that part in the game.

What’s stupid is Sakurai said WOL is nothing like Subspace but the villain captures the fighters, turns them into statues and uses light to make evil clones just like in Subspace but with darkness

I always questioned why it’s always Kirby to survive all these attacks that end everyone else. In the case you mentioned, Kirby simply teleported somehow, although Mario could’ve jumped into a super convenient pipe or something, or Sonic could’ve used chaos control with a super convenient chaos emerald, just- why Kirby?

@@Manel-dq2kb The whole "bias argument" has nothing to do with Kirby's survival of Galeem's onslaught. Sakurai stated in an interview that Palutena and Bayonetta could've survived the outcome. Kirby was purposefully chosen to be the starting playable character in World of Light since Palutena and Bayonetta weren't considered beginner friendly mainly for first-time players. Kirby's simplistic moveset is how the first-time players would likely use him a lot since he's the most easy-to-use character other than Mario. Sakurai doesn't really sport any form of bias towards any of the characters whatsoever. It's nothing but a thick-headed assumption.
