Very nice, very thorough review! I've been wanting one of these since they came out but the price is out of my budget. Hopefully they'll come down a bit because it would be a lot of fun to add to my house. This resembles their Dreamcolor strips but even more versatile, I'd probably sit there for hours fiddling with all the color and pattern options.

You can find cheaper alternatives on Amazon, but don’t think they are on the same level. You can also build your own, I made some of these with tp link Kasa light strips or with ws2812 light strips plus an smart controller

Great video as always.. but I can't get over the two light switches in the Conner of the room 😀. Odd place for light switches.

Wow was that detailed. I have used Govee for a few months now and I'm kinda familiar with the app so I might have missed it in your video. Where is firmware update in the app? Suggestion to Govee: app is slightly cluttered and needs a color wheel.

I think if I remember correctly, firmware updates just pop up on the device page when you go in. There is a color wheel but you gotta hunt for sure. It comes up on color pickers as a choice.

I've never tested more than one but yeah, you can create scenes in the govee app that start things at the same time. I tested that and they do start at the exact same moment so will sync

Use the Govee app to create a group on the home page. There are SOME sync features

I bought 2 of them. Around 2 months ago . But one of them it’s not turn it on . The other is working good but the other one . I open the app and trying to search for the lamp but it not showing up . Can someone help me to see if I can do something about it ?

Oh talk to Govee Support! Maybe try a factory reset of it to see if you can redo the setup and get better connection

The app deletion won't help. Try and find the physical factory reset method for the lamp.
