I done the same as you in my video. My makita saw has the blade on the left so as a right hander I can hold the square with my left & the saw in my right. Went to do the same with this but couldn't unless I swapped hands.

It will be a problem for some people. I know quite a few use that trick to cut smaller pieces with a circular saw. :-)
