That touching in and out movements at the start of Like Crazy were added by Jimin. It definitely gave a WOW effect to the performance! I love how both songs have choreos with a story, that's so typical of Jimin, and how it showcases his versatility with both softer and harder dance moves. He is so freaking good!!!! If you watch the live performances of Set me Free pt2, you can actually hear the audience screaming when Jimin and the dancers rushed forward. The dance move had that huge of a visual impact. Ola should definitely watch the MVs too, in particular SMFpt2. The lifting of Jimin and the paning in with the camera was so beautifully done, my favourite part 😊

He is so talented they all are in BTS. I was told the female that he is dancing with is supposed to be a reflection of Jimin himself, and coming to terms with his feminine side, as well as his manly side. The Choreo is so good in this and a lot of the hidden meanings are breathtaking .

For “Set Me Free Pt.2” as good as the dance practice is so you can see the choreo full out, I feel it would be so much more appreciated to full extent when reacting to the MV so you can see the Eng sub translation of the lyrics to appreciate that much more what the sing is trying to convey, not just by Jimin’s phenomenal emotional, passionate vocals, but through the dance which interprets the intent of meaning of song so incredibly way, one can appreciate the execution by dancer and of course Jimin that much more! Plus the filming, plus with the overhead camerawork, you can appreciate even more the dance formations which you’d can’t see in dance practice like the fibonacci, golden ratio form the dancers make at one point. I urge you to do a reaction to Jimin’s “Set Me Free Pt.2” MV as well!

Lerve ya! Jimin is definitely water constantly changing states but also when frozen burns like fire to the touch. Watching his solo self is like as if Prince, MJ, Mikael Baryshnikov, Gregory Hines, Bruce Lee & Gene Kelly had a baby together and added 3 extra splashes of Prince for good measure. All these performers for me had a manly command but also a fierce feminine grace accenting moves. Each lost themselves when performing their artform and that's Jimin.

Oh my goodness! Its like you're in my head. These are the same people I always say he is a mixture of, and for the same reasons as well. I always think Fred Astaire instead of Gregory Hines though, but now you've said it I agree fully. I think Gregory Hines' tap style was just as awesome but way more street. That urban yet contemporary thing is definitely a mix Jimin does spectacularly. I also have a martial artist in my Jimin mix of people, but it's Jet Li instead of Bruce Lee. Jet Li and Jimin both have an intensity about them, but also an unexpected flirty, charismatic and sweet side to them that echoes each other in my opinion. I also have always thought Jimin LOOKS like Jet Li a lot, too. The Prince and MJ thing is literally my first reaction everytime I have seen him perform. In the group AND SOLO even MORE. The drama, grace, poise, elegance, smoothness, flirtiness, intensity, hypnotic eye contact, charisma, charm, sassiness, smirking and mischievousness. The ethereal beauty and androgynous almost mercurial energy and aura. The extraordinary talent and superhuman work-ethic. All of it just screams MJ & PRINCE. But then there's a JIMIN THING on top of it ALL that makes him so immediately identifiable and unique, even in the sea of carbon-copies a lot of artists have become. He has bits of ALL these greats we compare him to, but he is a COPY of NO ONE. And THAT is what makes him so buyable and wanted on the WORLD LEVEL. He's a breathe of fresh air. An excellent and one of a kind ARTIST. We are definitely Incredibly fortunate to be witnesses to the birth of a NEW KING OF POP. He's already stepping into his calling. THIS is JIMIN'S WORLD. We're ALL just living in it.

OH and on the Baryshnikov note, I fully agree. Nuryev usually comes to mind as well, with the ballet but also the rebelliousness. Jimin has all that in that petite body, and so much strength but tempered with an unapologetic sensuality that I feel Mikael and Rudolf both never shied/shy away from. That makes all three very unique because most artists see sensuality and masculinity as mutually exclusive. THEY show you can do BOTH, naturally and honestly, and be appreciated for your art globally.

I cracked up when Ola said "ok homecoming" because there's a line in Set Me Free Pt 2 that actually says something about break soul so yeah he's really Beyonce's son (just in case you're unaware, there's an ongoing Twitter ARMY joke that Jimin is Beyonce's son after Val a pro dancer from Dancing With the Stars randomly quoted a pic of BTS at the American Music Awards (AMAs) and said Jimin looked like Beyonce so naturally we ran with it and photoshopped him into random pics with her. Additionally several members made her bday blog so we continue to hype this joke up randomly lol)

Set me free pt.2 This choreography is inspired by moments he went through during the pandemic, he sought to bring about the metamorphosis he experienced, pains and anguish of society that charges and watches over the individual, demanding perfection. References to the Panopticon (Foucault - like a watchtower in the middle of a round prison); Golden proportions (Fibonacci) and caterpillar cocoons in butterfly transmutation. All based on his personal experiences.

Sienna Lalau, ON & RUN BTS Choreographer also did Set Me Free pt 2. This Practice pops so much better against the Hardwood! I loved getting Female Bodies into the mix, breaking the rigid, military, uniformity of Hobi's More & Arson from the End of Year Awards Show. No Doubt, every single individual in Jimin's crew could def kick major ass, but the embracing of Jimin's Gender Fluidity is ❤️‍🔥🦋
