Ex Hawkesbury GenV

10 ай бұрынThis week we go back to the Visy Whittlesea contract, looking at one of two Ex Hawkesbury Council Euro4 Acco GenV's that were on loan from CMV. Towards the end of the old contract, Visy needed to get their hands on a few extra trucks to keep with the demand of growth but also having trucks off the road. It was a good opportunity for those to get out there and film a variety of trucks that were being used. Something like this doesn't really happen much these days and finding older Acco Side Loaders out in the suburbs is becoming a thing of the past now.
I did see these Euro4 GenV's up for sale after being used in Whittlesea but if they are still living on or not, I'm not sure. I did manage to film two more pre-Adblue GenV's in Whittlesea which were also loan trucks, so stayed tuned for that footage in the future. Absolutely awesome as soon as I saw the title I just knew it was Whittlesea, this truck was and absolute beast! Gutted I never filmed it, used to do my bins sucks they got rid of Visy, it was the only council under bush that did waste collections as well, also had a ex Toowoomba pumping! Awesome video Mate!

As soon as I saw the title, I knew this had to be a Whittlesea video, and I was right. This Euro 4 GenV does sound decent, with the operator behind the wheel showing off his skills at 0:43. Was this by any chance taken in Thomastown? Awesome video as per usual Yianni

If you check the description, you can see him say that he’s not 100% sure if their still there or not, but he did see some for sale

Incorrect, They are long gone form Whittlesea, JJs volvos do there now. But whether they are sill alive or not, he is unsure on.

Definitely not, not one chance Whittlesea would still have this truck, JJs took over a while ago bud only some ex JJs around and of course the Volvos. Most likely scrapped or sitting in a yard somewhere like some of the others.
