The shape doesn’t change the fact that these are still dumbbells and there is not constant tension.
@frpog4253
@frpog4253 6 ай бұрын
Maybe, but The shape does changes how the weight is distributed. Instead of being heavy on just two ends, this “dumbbell” keeps the weight more localized/evenly distributed. That translates to more stability and reduces (notice I didn’t say cancels out) how much your stabilizers have to help with the movement, Which in turn, creates more tension in the targeted muscle group.

That's a fantastic idea. Dumbells shift and have an awkward momentum shift sometimes, no matter how good your grip is - this would eliminate a lot of that, and also provide more tension throughout workouts like dumbell flies. The odds of what you're describing happening are ridiculously small. The design of these is FAR MORE safer than a regular dumbbell, as it limits the Moment of Inertia through the movement and reduces the chance of wrist injury dramatically, especially when managing heavier weight.

@AdnanShaikh-zh5zd 7 ай бұрын
@@LawrenceAugust_ the odds are not ridiculously small, they happen almost every other day in any gym in the world.
