They spend time exploring the diverse landscape of Valley Of The Moon before heading home to allow the worst of the winter to pass the southern countries before they can complete the Pan American Highway. Guys, I'm from Chile and have been following you since the Central American expedition, I'm fluent in English (kinda) but my girlfriend and many in the Chilean overlanding community aren't. I would love to help you with the subtitles in spanish for your videos, so many more Latinamerican people can enjoy your awesome adventures.

I think she is but not sure. I kinda doubt they would be crazy enough to have a unattached attractive lady on the trip with all the guys. I'm not sure which one she belongs to or whatever the PC way of saying it is.While I'm thinking about it though it might be a good ideal if they can find away for their wives to be with them abit more. Every once in awhile a couple of them get kinda weird with the jokes.I do appreciate the fact that they are keeping the language clean though. If I had more time I'd comment more. But I'm getting tired and I got another 10 hour shift coming up. So I better get ready to turn in. The joys of working night shift.

Not sure how common sense became misogynistic. But the fact that I already have kids and ain't been brainwashed by the modern PC foolishness lets me know how dangerous it would be to the family life of all involved to have a young attractive unattached lady with a bunch of guys like that. And that's no matter how pure the behavior or intentions of all involved.And sense some of the guys apparently belong to some woman (or however the PC way to say it is) I kinda doubt the wives would approve. At least most normal ones wouldn't.And going by your reaction I'm guessing your a brainwashed kid that ain't never been married.I can tell you from experience that wives can be very jealous for little to no reason.After being married for almost 25 years and having 2 kids I've leaned a few things.

Totally agree about the approach shoes. I wear my La Sportiva Boulder X almost daily out here in the Canadian Rockies. They're great for easy scrambles, mountain biking and even walks around town in the winter. The soles tend to wear quickly but a small price to pay for the excellent grip they provide.

Congratulations, you've become a polished team. The quality of your videos has increased significantly since your first trips. Saw you driving over the snowy pass east of Missoula on Dec 20th. Was thinking of you as I passed through and sure enough, there you were. You seemed much more secure than I was in the snow, driving my little 2wd Taco!

You MUST treat your viewers with the dedication and respect we've given you to watch this many episodes. Please tell us what you're using to brew coffee. You drove through the very best coffee growing regions, so surely you use something to brew your own....I saw a glimpse in this video. Are you grinding it yourself, pouring or pressing or ? The whole coffee drinking world wants to know.

Wow... that was quite a jump in editing. From the Adacama to Puerto Montt. You Missed La Serena, Valpariso, Santiago, Conceptión, Villarica, Valdivia, etc... so much of the part of Chile that makes it Chile, with it's history and cultural heritage. Yeah, Patagonia and Torres Del Paine are the more remote and picturesque portions. But also the least explorable. Tons of glaciers, fjords, steep mountains. I hope you get a least a helicopter tour while you are down there.

Hello, XOverland crew! We are enjoying your adventure a lot! We are a group of 7 brazilians (6 adults and 1 child) in an expedition that started in Brazil and are going South to Ushuaia, through Argentina (Ruta 3). Then, we will start to go North through Chile. We will probably reach you guys on the road and it would be amazing if we meet you. If you need any tips about Brazil, we would be happy to help. @17:02 Did you Guys consider the mercator projection ? Chile seems to be just a little bit bigger. Not a big Deal for Chile but for other Countries. Maybe it was a Problem to show it in the Animation.

Absolutely beautiful editing and filmography. Vehicles look amazing and the inclusion of Hema maps is superb. After watching old episodes such as that from Alaska/Yukon it does leave me wondering why the noticeable lack of off-road and trail driving. The South American series has been a bit of a let down in this regard. I’ve got high hopes for Patagonia and some good trails and backcountry roads - or lack thereof. Love the show guys, keep up the amazing work.

Hi, I like a lots your program. I am from chile and you missed a lot when you skip from Copiapó to Puerto Montt There is places that incredible So you must visit Chile, other time. Ther are places like. - Valle del esquí - alto Biobio - La Araucanía ( national parks) After Puerto Montt. Also you mis lots of places in the island of Chiloe like the old churches al other places For tell you some.

Gustavo Guzman This whole show is making a bunch of effort to travel to far off places and then skipping everything that is close by in the name of major tourist locations and making "dead lines". It's so frustrating to watch. You could fly into one of these countries and rent a 4wd and get more off the beaten path than they do with all the tons of gear they have. :/

Hints dropped at a big 2018!? Perhaps Australia is on the cards! Just a pre-warning: If you do plan to bring rigs across to our fine country get a copy of our ADR rules cos we have some pretty ridiculous rules on vehicle mods. eg. in most States you can't mount a lightbar above the front bonnet line.

Do you guys have your vehicle specs available someplace? I'm interested in your suspension upgrades, transmission, brakes, etc. I'm (slowly) working on equipping my Jeep LJ for overland adventure and I want to make sure it is properly outfitted for longer, more remote trips. Awesome adventure you guys are taking too!
