I read somewhere that the concept of this video is the horror game emily wants to play. Its about a house hunted by Emily (in this case Wendy). A pizza delivery boy delivers pizza and gets traped in the house where he is forced to play games like hide and sick( as it is shown in the video) Emily also has this ghost dolls that haunt with her(Sulgi, Yeri, Irene and Joy)

Ok so this is my theory In the lyrics they say that they want something new and that you shouldn’t be surprised if they get bored and move on and things like that. I think that in the past they would just lure them in and get rid of them when they got bored leaving their shirt as a trophy. But with this dude they started to actually fall in love and tried to run away with him including Wendy who took off his blindfold. When he escapes by himself and tries to run AWAY from them they get mad and do what they did with all those other delivery boys and get rid of him.

I don't think wendy is in control or any different than them . She's dressed slightly different but that's something typical in kpop groups. Additionally that whole sequence with the girls escaping , Wendy was part of it as well. She was just the first person they showed. they showed the rest of them subsequently. The way I understand that scene is that it represents the fact that at some point they've helped some delivery boy out of the house only to kill him in the end. So that scene shows a quick snippet of them and a delivery boy they were with but its edited in such a way that seems like it's happening to the same boy when in reality it's happening to multiple boys. Each of them had their time to seduce or entrance a delivery boy, help him escape then kill him in the end .. they're like a cult. It's really messed up that they would want to psychologically screw with him like that. Amazing video!

So the member in the mv exept irene is dead, turned into kinda between zombie and ghost (I dont know how u guys call it in Usa) Irene, setted as witch, can resurrect the member, 1 by 1, using the jewel. Also, when the full moon rises, she gets special ability to turn human into a jewel. So, the delivery mans were not dead, but turned into jewel.(well same as dying though XD) Inside the mv, you are able to spot one of the member sitting inside somekind of circle, other member spinning around it. 3:06 One of the member was going to be resurrected. However, they find the delivery guy watching them through the window, so the member changes the plan and stops the resurrection. They play with the delivery man, and eats cake. The cake is not a normal cake though, it is kind of confusing cake. One of the member(irene) tells the delivery man that they are going to kill you. Irene and delivery man escapes the house. But since he had eaten the confusing cake, he sees irene as wendy, joy and other members. 1:59 After escaping the house, members shoot crossbow to him. However, it slips his face and misses him. After that, irene gets out of the car and turns him into jewel and mv ends.2:36 Then why did they had to let the man escape? It is DESPAIR. After running out of death(crossbow), when he relives, killing him gives despair to him.

my theory is pretty simple: they are all broken girls who managed to be recruited by Irene and now they are taking revenge on guys to sate their insatiable vengeance. How to get random dudes on the street? Delivery boys are the easiest prey. why i'd say Irene? Irene is the clearly the leader here, she has the whole sofa to herself at the start (implying she is the owner of the house), she isn't involved in target practice (implying she is the highest ranking), the painting behind her flows (implying she is all-powerful), she is always the person in front (during those peekaboo chasing scenes and also the weapons part during Wendy's bridge) and at the end, she finished the job when her subordinate failed. Joy is the 'second-in-command', basically she is the first girl to be recruited by Irene. She is also not involved in target practice and she is the one in charge of seducing the victims (as seen in the questionable pose during the 'pizza hut -literally' scene and also the ritual scene where she 'locked eyes' with the pizza dude). Another scene that firms up my believe is during the gelatin scene where the clock strikes 12. Irene and Joy were seated diagonally from the victim, while the lower ranking girls were seated either beside or directly across. this implies that Irene and Joy's status doesn't allow them to deal with their victim directly, it's the job of those lower ranking girls. Irene is seated on the left while Joy on the right. This is a traditional asian thing that implies Irene is of the higher status, like how husband will always be on the left and wife on the right (it's really an asian thing and they are korean so yeah). Wendy is the 'third-in-command', she is not exactly high ranking but she is not exactly low ranking either. Even though she is involved in target practice, she is not the target lol. Another scene where this was implied - the pizza gem diamond (whatever you call it) chess game with Joy. She must be of a certain status to be playing games with the 2nd in charge right? Same thing for the gelatin scene, Wendy is on the left while Seulgi is on the right (it's an asian thing yo). There's a scene where the two different tier (irene joy wendy and seulgi yeri) was depicted clearly, it's during the 'im fine fine fine fine after Seulgi's all my friends says i have a problem'. Yeri also appears to piss Irene off by missing that shot, and hence Irene took matters to her own hands instead of asking her other subordinates to do it. For the Gelatin part. Well, it's clearly spiked with hallucinative drugs. Right after the blindfold was took off was Wendy's high pitched part right? It's being blurred out, sort of like a dream-like state. The members helping him to escape was all his imagination, in reality they are going to kill him. He is able to even get to the door is because the members were away to grab their weapons. Of course. not every scene in the MV backed my theory up. This is Kpop after all, where the centre of the group, main dancers or main vocals during vocal lines and such will affect the members' position in various scenes for aesthetic purposes. Ok so this is my theory for this music video. SO BUCKLE UP CAUSE IT IS A RIDE!! So the story is that every full moon they have a pizza delivery boy be "sacrificed." So when it isn't full moon, they practice killing on each other hence Irene with a razor at seulgi's throat, Wendy, Seulgi and Yeri shooting each other and when Yeri practiced shooting the crossbow on the couch. Theyre also practicing the "sacrifice" when they surround joy with candles on a table. Yeri meets the pizza guy and irene is the lookout, signalling others to commence their "ceremony." Their ceremony starts by putting the pizza delivery guy in the middle of candles. Now that he is "prepped" to be sacrificed, they liven him up by playing with him. The last game that they play is a blindfolded eating game. So they gather around the table all blindfolded and when the clock struck midnight, they all looked and knew it was time to get ready. The climax (signalled by wendy's ad libs) show each member "helping" him escape from the threat in the house but in reality are sending him outside so yeri can shoot him. But when she does shoot, she misses the shot and only grazes his cheeks. So, he escapes to try to call for help on the phone. On the side of the phone box, there is a flyer of missing delivery boys (from previous full moons). However, the phone is cut off and there was already a member in his car ready to finish him off. The end shows the dead boy's shirt being displayed (most likely in their house). They have succeeded in their most recent full moon pizza delivery hunt. I don’t think Wendy didn’t help him escape. She started helping him escape first by taking off the blindfold for him. But the ghost theory got me shook. So I agree with that.

I think honestly Yeri fell in love with the pizza boy. I say this because when they first showed him giving the pizza, Yeri had a look of 'falling in love and then it shows Irene's face when walking by like, "Don't think he'll be with you we still have to get rid of him" and when Yeri shot the arrow at him it missed, but I think she did it purposely and then around the end you see him drive off to make the call. This duality can be explained by Irene's expectation when she goes to meet him at the door, when Yeri gets the pizza delivered to her and looks conflicted, when they all seem to be having a good time and, ultimately, when it all gets twisted at the end.

Pretty much with you on this theory. Especially when I saw the missing delivery boys pics on the side of the phone booth. The whole concept kinda gave me an "IT" vibe. I also thought it was possible that they could be killing and eating the delivery boys which is why they don't need food anymore. I wasn't to sure about Wendy controlling everything but it makes sense. I thought the scene with the other girls trying to help the man escape was maybe symbolic of the humanity they once had, and if they weren't these supernatural beings they wouldn't have to feed on humans anymore, but maybe Wendy was the only one who really accepted what she was. 1:58 is from the delivery guy's P.O.V.. It's in the same setting as when they were in the dinner table. The guy is removing his blind fold and the first girl who tried to save him was Wendy. In a different angle it's Seulgi. Followed by Joy, Irene, and finally, Yeri. I don't think the girls are serving Wendy but it's an interesting theory. My theory is that there are alternate realities where each of the girls try to save the pizza delivery guy. Which is why it seemed like the guy kept coming back to the house. Perhaps when the clock strikes midnight(dining table scene), it is time to kill the guy. In alternate reality A, Wendy tries to save the guy. In B, it's Seulgi. In C, it's Joy. In D and E, it's Irene and Yeri, respectively. In each of the alternate realities mentioned above(A to E), each of the girls manage to escape with the guy and they stop over the telephone booth and that is where they kill the guy. The only scene which proves this is when Irene gets out of the car in the end. In F, the 5 girls kill the guy in the end. The scene where the girls are walking while they remove their blindfolds and the scene where Yeri shoots the guy, while the 4 other girls stand, prove this. The guy tries to escape but the girls still manage to kill him(the scene where they stand in the doorway with their weapons and Yeri shoots him). The guy dies in every single ending. That's why they have the guy's shirt in the end. The only difference in every world is what happens after the dinner scene. I could probably explain this better but I suck at explaining so this might be confusing. I could answer questions though.

As much as I love this theory it does not tie the whole thing together. The best theory is that he is getting seduced by Red Velvet. I will also explain the jello scene too. Adding on to the original theory of them seducing the boy and then them killing him at the end. Some of the lyrics state, "We are gonna play until The moon is hanging on the jungle gym." They are saying that their house is the playground. Also from this in the video on the balcony scene we can see that they are looking out at the moon but it isn't full yet, and in the final scene it is full and Irene is going to kill him. You can somewhat confirm it because when you look at the scene where they are eating jello you can see that there is black jello and green jello. They are wearing blindfolds because they are picking at random who gets to kill the pizza delivery man, my theory is that if he gets the black one he dies instantly, but if one of the red velvet members gets the black one that is the one that gets to kill him, but if he gets a green one he gets to try to run. You can confirm this because at the end of the video we can see Irene getting out of the car about to attack him while he is at the phone booth, and she is the one with the black jello so, in the end, she killed him. (possibly Wendy or Irene) All the rest of Red Velvet tries to fight against the over powering power of the leader by trying to save the pizza guy, but ultimately lose against the power and end up with the leader at the top, taking turns to try and kill him (as in a backup plan.)
