Exploring Blanchard Springs & Fishing Mirror Lake

My wife and I got out this week and did some exploring at Blanchard Springs Caverns and some fishing in Mirror lake.
Blanchard Springs Caverns is a cave system located in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Stone County in northern Arkansas, 2 miles off Highway 14 a short distance north of Mountain View.[1] It is the only tourist cave owned by the United States Forest Service and the only one owned by the Federal government outside the National Park System. Blanchard Springs Caverns is a three-level cave system, all of which can be viewed on guided tours.

Love that area. My wife is from that area. 56 has a great restaurant too, when things get back to normal.

Good to know about the restaurant, I was hoping to walk the creek and fish a little but they had the gates locked. The only drawback to taking my wife is she frowns on my trespassing to fish😬

I fished Taneycomo years ago but it's not one of my regular places to fish. I think the only reason I fished it that year was because we took the family to Branson. Thanks for watching and the comment.
