Although it's not the same, I grew up with my first cousin (moms neice) and was always the third wheel during her teenage relationships (her parents were strict and I would end up having to cover for her). We'd basically go to the movies and McDonalds and I'd sit away from them. Once her first relationship ended, her ex slid into my dms and tried to flirt with me. The same guy who used to call me 'sister-in-law' was now calling me the "hotter, cooler sister". I instantly snapped at him for insulting her and blocked him. I told my cousin about what he did and she didn't even bother unfriending the dude. Even her 2nd boyfriend (who was waay older than me) tried flirting with me after their relationship ended. I blocked his ass too. She still talks to him. 🤡 Btw, I was a minor when these guys tried to make a move on me and my cousin was 20. Her boyfriends were in their mid 20s. I distanced myself from my cousin because of these incidents.
