It's same BS video's you see all the time with clickbait thumbnails: "Do this easy side hustle for 10k a month" Sure you can get to those kind of numbers, but it takes time and effort. There is no 'easy', because the markets they usualy talk about have very high competition.

I spend more than 20 minutes a day doing Customer Service alone, being I message every customer thanking them and lettig them know I would notify them when their item (s) are arriving. I call BS- Sincerely-April

Any person can easily generate $38,500 per month - IN GROSS REVENUE - while making 30% gross profit but OPERATING AT A NET LOSS. This only works if the person can make up the losses by selling something else, like seminars on how to make money. Some companies only report the gross profit to make the operations sound great, while the company actually loses nearly as much per month as it generates in gross receipts.

Show me an ethically run Etsy store making a profit while not exploiting other's intellectual property. Manufacturing garbage is not a craft, it's a gimmick.

There probably aren’t that many variations of candles. He could be going in to renew the listings in 20 min a day. But yeah, I still agree, there’s probably more to the story. And probably outsourcing designs, etc too. The amount shared doesn’t show the actual profit which could be 1.98 after costs and fees for all we know.

I work full time at my Etsy shop because I have to. There's designing, research, customer responding, returns, sample ordering and checking the items, personalization, listing/mockup upgrades, and things I haven't thought of.

Idk but would you guys tell your shop while doing well enough for yourself just to have many come and copy. No matter the news outlet. Those interviews can stay only about the person not the actual biz and its site so people can go be nosey .no smh and like, he\she didnt interview for sales. And thats okay

Well it was said that he worked 4 hrs a day for the first while.. And maybe he doesn't do custom. But still, hard to say if he's legit. Need more proof. (also the customer service aspect would be significant)

its probably exaggerated to be honest. makes people working hard in their etsy store feel like failures. thats why i stay away from these stories. and take the tips you guys offer until i make those 100 sales.

Is it print on demand? Shipping candles is expensive. If not packaged well they break. Yeah this sounds like a lot of baloney.

Oh this is hilarious click bait. You are asking viewers to be skeptical because there's no proof (not even screen shots) so they should be careful of what they read since we don't know this person or their site/shop so we can't really take their word for it. But every Etsy expert on social media and KZfaq does the very same thing, and they expect viewers to blindly believe. Yes there are some screenshots, but screenshots are easily altered (along with a lot of other "proof"). Y'all are telling on yourselves. 😂

Yeah right. I sell 30,000 a month gross with 50% profit margins, and answering questions already answered on the product page alone is at least half an hour every day. If it were this easy, I would be selling 10 times that and traveling the world 😂

Here's the real problem Francisco causes. The Etsy beginner sees this type of video and jumps in without looking. With little or no experience nor design skill, they list poor quality designs in over-saturated niches. They soon find out the video was B.S. (and I don't mean Bachelor of Science). Now, Etsy has all this non-selling trash taking up space on their servers. Etsy customers see page after page of junk and leave unsatisfied. The only one getting rich is the KZfaq content creator.
