** I don't think this is the unit for us just due to we need to be able to see what's going on inside the bag 🙂

The pto running the wrong way is correct for the way the tractor sits at the moment however facing the tractor towards the machine would in turn make it spin the right way unless your spec is different to the 820 we have here in the UK as I used to think the same but we've used the front pto numerous times for jobs. The red machine is much better than the blue also

Worst case is Neeralta knows what changes they need to make to their machine so that they can get your business. Demos and evaluations are just as important for the vendor as they are for the customer. That extractor seems to be a heck of a machine. It just makes it difficult for you to clean the bad stuff out before it goes in the truck.

What if you put the bag roller onto the Akron. So when your finished, instead of rolling the bag out, you can just transfer it to the bag roller. Basically combine the two. You'll be able to check the bag and operate like normal but at the end you get to roll it. Just an idea. To improve the other bag extractor, finding a way to lower the angle on the bag roller might help solve a lot of the issue. That 90 degree pull on the bag can put a lot of strain and increase the risk of tearing the bag.

I think Mike hit it on the head when he brought up the fact that; it would be easy to poke the auger out the side of the bag, the low visibility of this machine would not be ideal. Just my opinion. Awesome presentation. I can see it working for some people, who store grain very short periods, where rotten grain is less of a factor.

It seems to me both extractors have something positive over the other. On the Neeralta, it would work better if the roller was lower down, and provided easy access to the bag for grain inspection during rolling (don't pinch the bag so early in the rolling cycle). This video should be useful for the manufacturer....

Good afternoon Mike first off love your vids and the info you give with each one one thing I noticed about the demo machine if your electronics go wonky and you need to run the machine from the lever controls you have 2 issues that come to view the horizontal drive shaft and the vertical drive shaft, you boys do slot of the unbagging in snowy weather and icy conditions if the operator was to slip he or she may end up on the drive shafts and with no cage the end result could be very unpleasant. This I have seen first hand my brother was helping us and he slipped and ended up tangled in the shaft, pins, screws, and 2 plates plus 8 months off work. A cage would go a long way. Stay safe boys great teamwork.

Neeralta works better further north in areas of high snowfall because the roller is in the air fully out of the snow bank. Also new Akrons have hydraulic driven wheels according to their website. Or you could just retrofit an auger mover to the extractor wheels...
