I didn't get it When somebody speaks very fast like you .. What should i do??
@ExtraEnglishPractice
@ExtraEnglishPractice 6 жыл бұрын
This is an excellent and common question. Understanding fast speech is difficult. Don't be afraid to tell someone when you don't understand, and ask them to repeat. Also, keep listening to English whenever you can. We are working on a video about understanding fast speech. Good luck!

Download the video from KZfaq, then start VLC or other programme and use the option 'Speed'. You can set it at a lower speed, in fact. It might be at 90 per cent or 80 per cent. It's up to you, actually. And the fast speech wouldn't hamper you.

It's very helpful, but still as a foreigner in a foreign land, it is hard to make proper light conversations. I always feel I sound awkward ..English is hard..I feel like I need a lot of practice.

Yes, it's so difficult to get comfortable in a language, but your English is very good! I'm sure you think you are awkward much more than other people think that.
